This story takes place before and during the events of abyssal shadow and is meant to be taken not as seriously as this is my first time actually writing something in a while.

{Intro Starts Playing} {Play Jikan Dayo by RYUTist & Kan Sano from 0:00 to 1:30}

{11:00pm: 1/15/2009} - Mission Start

"What am I, who am I..why did I abandon them.."

We open to a guy with Jet Black Spiky Hair, piercings on both ears with dark reddish eyes glancing around at his surroundings.

???: "…Mom, Dad I promise that I will do better to protect my brother from this hellish landscape we call Tokyo."

As the black spiky haired male held onto his brother, he decided it was best for him to enjoy a better life than him so he decided to leave him by a random house alone, walking away into the shadows.

???: "…Please forget about me, Riku."

??? was revealed to be named, "Yusei Akiyama", he was someone who was quite mysterious and only thought about himself and what not until that fateful encounter which was meeting or encountering a threat.

Yusei had nothing but his old black katana, fingerless gloves, a slightly damaged black hoodie with black ripped sweatpants, and some body armor inside of his clothes.

Yusei: "…I should head over and try to complete my mission that I was supposed to do… (Yusei would sigh a bit, deadpanning)…What a Nuisance.."

Yusei would think about his younger brother for a bit, before trying to forget about him since his mission was more important in his eyes instead of his only family which was his younger brother, Riku.

As Yusei said this, he would eye a random bike that was left unattended and well he would borrow it since he didn't want to waste his energy on something that would potentially be a waste to him.

He would start pedaling away to where he was supposed to reach for the mission.

{1/16/2009} - {Midnight}: Kill the GanglordWe would appear at a very unique abandoned building which looks like a trap house for Drug Dealers and other types of criminals as we see a slightly fit middle aged Japanese man wearing a classic samurai kimono with a katana on his hip and three scars on his face which connected his right eye, nose and lip.

???: "The drugs were meant to be sent off awhile ago, what's the fucking hold up.., Kurayami…my boy do you know who was the cause of this?"

Kurayami: (Serious) "Boss, it was Mizuna..I told him to do what you asked and well he tried arguing and bitching..at me and well you know how I am when the rival gang member tried to press me."

???: "Yeah, I know…, Boy.. bring me mizuna for a minute."

Kurayami: "Yes Dad—…I mean Boss."

Kurayami ran off, grabbing Mizuna by the arm since he was a block away from the room, finally entering the room.

Mizuna would enter the room with Kurayami, eyeing his boss with a slight hint of fear in his eye.

Mizuna: "…What am I supposed to do?"

???: "…Good question, step forward for me, Mizuna."

Mizuna would reluctantly walk forward, causing the boss to lash out—slamming his fist into Mizuna's face with a slight hint of aggression.

Mizuna would eye the boss with an angry look, causing him to try and strike back using his right hand activating his ability which required him to get angry—seeping out a light blue aura like he was going to use water magic; however, he shot out an ice crystal onto the ground.

???: "You really think you can scare me with that, Boy…as the leader of Vampa, I will teach you why you shouldn't get confident…learn why you should also fear the name ''Kiyoshi Chihiro''….."

Kiyoshi eyed Mizuna as he started staring at Mizuna, activating his mana with ease, showcasing a violet like aura symbolizing his dominance as he started grinning very sinisterly.

Kurayami eyed this with a neutral expression since he knows his father is very much the strongest man he ever knew and met in his life.

Kiyoshi started to stare at Mizuna, as he asked him honestly.

"You have two options, either You start begging and standing down or you fight me and die from this."

Mizuna stepped forward, opening his mouth.

"..You asked for this, FROST HAMMER!"

A Hammer would form from the very ice causing Mizuna to grip it into his hand, staring down at Kiyoshi.

"…Take this, Frost Hammer Style: EMPEROR's Frozen QuickStorm"

As Mizuna said those words, he unleashed a series of ice crystals storming down on Kiyoshi, before finally stepping down a bit, dashing forward—going for a simple swing into Kiyoshi's chest, sending shockwaves which caused the windows to burst from the impact.

Kiyoshi: "You think that I'm scared of your feeble power, BOY.

As Kiyoshi said what he wanted to say, he would face Mizuna stepping forward before sending his fist into his face, sending him through the wall.

The Impact of Kiyoshi's fist to Mizuna's face was more or so similar to A Lion to a Gazelle, one of which is like the king of the jungle and the other one is mostly the one being hunted down and fed to its family.

Mizuna was struggling to get up to his feet, unaware of the power difference between himself and Kiyoshi.

Kiyoshi: "…Lion's Fury."

Kiyoshi began to throw a left jab connecting to Mizuna's Chest before spinning to the back side landing a perfect 180° degree angle back kick, causing Mizuna to get flung through the same wall, and crashing into the other room in the building.

Mizuna would begin to vomit out heavy amounts of blood, looking down into the ground as his vision started to become very blurry.

Kiyoshi would grin seriously, as he began to slowly walk over to Mizuna like he was Mufasa from the lion king until they were interrupted by a disruption.

???: "It seems you are miserable or something, so I wouldn't mind putting you out of commission to the afterlife."

The individual eyed Mizuna's body, as they would be showcasing their darkness magic, extending their palm out.

???: "Darkness magic: Shadow's Strike"

As Dark Energy emitted into their palm, they would begin to hit Mizuna's Stomach with it, causing their shadow to rip out of their body by force, making Mizuna to scream out in agony—as he dropped to the ground, his body was no more, as it was gone due to it no longer harboring a shadow no more.

Kiyoshi eyed the individual who is coated in Darkness Magic, grinning at them with a cocky smile, opening his mouth finally.

Kiyoshi: "…Who are—"

The Individual would Interrupt Kiyoshi before he even finished his sentence.

???: "…Yusei is my name, however… (Yusei wouldn't give Kiyoshi a chance to react, as he extended his palm out a bit more— concentrating his energy until it reached a certain point)…You'll be dead before you even try to remember it that is…"

Kiyoshi: "What?"

Kiyoshi was beginning to look confused, as he thought Yusei was going to dash at him and use some kind of attack magic so he decided to just block it as he could overpower him as he thought he was some weakling who seems to be overcomplicating things for him right now.

Yusei: "….Darkness Magic: Eclipse Buster."

Yusei would grin a bit, before finally firing his blast which was similar to a Laser Beam Attack but with the same shape as a real life Eclipse and with a similar power to a Buster Cannon.

Kiyoshi eyed the blast with a bit of a cocky smile, dashing straight through the blast—grabbing Yusei's face and sending him into the air before striking his gut and sending him flying into the hallway.

Yusei would spit out in agony, after he hit in the gut—As he was in the air, Kiyoshi would then jump upwards, curving his body a bit to the left before sending his foot into Yusei's torso, causing him to crash into the ground.

Yusei: "…Damnit.." Yusei would notice an opening, jumping back before Kiyoshi tried to connect the final hit; causing it to create a crater into the ground which looked like something like a landslide.

Kiyoshi: "..Berserker magic: Tiger's Might…" Kiyoshi would quickly react to Yusei jumping back as he decided to dash over quickly—sending his elbow into his face before walking up to him from side to side, grinning deviously before roaring and sprinting over to Yusei sending a series of right and left quick jabbing into his upper torso, causing Yusei to get knocked back into a series of walls, before crashing into the ground outside.

Yusei was seen leaning on the tree, dripping blood from his forehead—eyeing Kiyoshi who was walking over before grinning cockily.

Yusei sighed, realizing that he should stop playing around with this threat in front of him and show him why he's not to be messed with, as he began to surge his mana further showcasing his darkness magic.

Yusei: "…Am I going to lose…(We would see a small glimpse of Yusei's heart beating in his chest and his eyes glowing with a red tint)…Well I'm sorry Riku for not being a great brother and for also abandoning you and giving you to a better family who can take care of you." 

Kiyoshi dived straight at Yusei, dashing elbow first in order to finally destroy him, at the last second—Yusei managed to surge his energy, knocking Kiyoshi back.

Kiyoshi: "…HOW?!.." Kiyoshi would use his hand, turning himself over towards the right side—despite how badly he is currently damaged.

Before Kiyoshi was able to regain his balance, he was quickly intercepted by Yusei's Elbow to his face which then was connected together with a simple boot to the middle of his torso—causing him to spit out blood in agonizing pain.

Kiyoshi: "..D-Damn, the only time I even felt this much pain was when I was at the Warrior's Academy and those two wannabe warriors managed to outclass me.." (We would see a short flashback at Koji Tachibana and Tsukasa Yamazaki staring down at Kiyoshi after they beaten him once but very quickly; causing Kiyoshi to lose it)…NOW I'm gonna be beaten by some lowly brat, after I started over in this fucking COUNTRY!!!"

Kiyoshi's Eyes began to dilate as he looked over to Yusei, with a look of distaste and disgust forming his lips.

Kiyoshi: "I'm going to KILL YOU…" Kiyoshi's mana began to lose control as he began to form into something that he wasn't, which was something unexpected.. This was because of mana overexertion..it was something that involves those with mana to not do as it could kill you.

Kiyoshi began to walk over but very slowly, until he burst his mana once more continuing to overexert himself even further—transforming into something he wasn't, causing Yusei to decide everything on one attack to finally finish him for good.

Kiyoshi began to pivot forward, sending a powerful uppercut into Yusei's gut—before curving to the left side with his foot into the side of his torso followed by a simple knee strike to his chin, causing Yusei to gain some airtime in the sky as Kiyoshi jumped upwards—connecting his hands together sledgehammering him into the pavement.

Yusei was seen, crashing into the ground once more, causing his shirt to tear a bit and blood to spill from his face and body once more.

Yusei: "..I must try and put an end to this guy.." As Yusei eyed Kiyoshi again, he began to take a deep breath before walking forward—letting his darkness magic take over his body for the first time in his life.

 Yusei would forget that he had a katana on his back causing him to sigh after powering up, as he began to reach his back to unsheathe his katana—Kiyoshi was seen trying to rush him like he was playing blitz in football, but he would randomly stand still—eyeing Yusei.

Kiyoshi: "GGGGGRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" Kiyoshi would start roaring, charging up a very powerful mouth blast causing his mana to start swelling up painfully, showing that his skin starting to peel slowly.

Yusei would sigh, holding his katana as he would burst his mana, infusing his darkness mana into his katana.

Yusei: "It's now or never.." Yusei began to pivot towards Kiyoshi, while Kiyoshi was still charging the mouth blast.

Kiyoshi would eye Yusei, as he began to stop charging his mouth blast—causing Yusei to look a bit confused; Until, he was ultimately dumbfounded when Kiyoshi fired it at Yusei.

Yusei: "I'm not going to lose to some weakling who let his power consume him…(Yusei would begin to speed up walking before dashing towards Kiyoshi, jumping into the air—spinning)…This will be it, my all or nothing…"

Yusei would be seen spinning in the air, until Jet Black Aura began to surge within him.

Yusei: "Darkness Magic: Akuma's Spin." (Yusei would finally land the finishing blow on Kiyoshi, causing the blast dissipate—with him crashing into the ground forming a huge crater, showing Kiyoshi then spitting out massive amounts of blood before being lifted into the sky)

Kiyoshi: "NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" As Kiyoshi began to say no, he was being mysterious—delivering massive amounts of mana causing his body to expand and grow very large like, before screaming out loud—after the final breath was spent, Kiyoshi began to glow brightly before he exploded—dying causing shock to form within Yusei for the first time.

Yusei would grin a bit, while looking a bit tired—staring down at the pile of ash and bones that were at the spot where Kiyoshi exploded, with some blood stains that were noticeable.

Yusei: "Rest Easy, Deceased Enemy." Yusei would bow and pay respects to the target he eliminated, before sighing—until a voice was heard behind him.

Kurayami eyed the ash and bones and then back at Yusei who he thought was a threat.

Kurayami: "Oi, Where is my father?"

Kurayami was eyeing Yusei seriously—before blazing his aura showcasing his own magic, as a storm cloud burst from the sky.

Yusei: "Soo, You are a Storm Magic User huh?" Yusei would look a bit nervous, since he just finished a fight earlier and now he has to start a whole new one just to complete his mission of fleeing the place.

Kurayami: "…Let me ask you one more time…(Kurayami's Voice darkened a bit as he asked the same question)…Where is my Father?!"

Yusei: "He's right there.." Yusei pointed at the ash and bones that were still in front of him, grinning a bit nervously.

Kurayami: "…So You killed my father?" Kurayami began to laugh sinisterly, before eyeing Yusei—with a bloodlust in his eye as he then dashed forward, slamming his fist into his gut.

As Yusei was hit in the gut—he spat out blood, before slamming into the rock crater behind him.

Yusei: "…D-Damnit, I could've avoided this fight if I kept quiet.." Yusei decided to use his katana as he pulled himself out of the rock crater—unsheathing his katana, dashing forward towards Kurayami, swinging his blade to the left side but it was caught by Kurayami, causing a hailstorm to be rained on him.

Yusei: "..Crap." Yusei began to take a deep breath as he decided to think of a way to leave this area.

Kurayami would unleash a powerful ice storm, before using the same ice attack as a way to traverse through—before sending a elbow strike into Yusei's chest once more, before lifting his foot up—sending a left foot and connecting it into Yusei's Face—causing him to crash into the nearest tree.

Yusei: "GUU AAAHH—" Yusei was seen spitting serious amounts of blood out from his body due to the sheer amount of damage he faced.

Yusei would try to force himself up by stabbing his katana into the ground, helping himself up—realizing that Kurayami was in front of him before he could even react.

Yusei: "…I understand your pain, I understand that you are angry but you should be angry at those who hurt you but I'm not—well technically I am one of those people who hurt you—I did kill your father but it's for a good reason not a selfish one like money." Yusei would sigh a bit, before noticing something forming from underneath him, which was a shadow creature which was new to him.

Yusei: "Hey uhhh, guy that I was fighting…(Yusei seems a bit tired, while also trying to come up with a good strategy)…is this some type of transformation or something?"

Kurayami: "What are you…—" (Kurayami's eyes widened as he was stabbed through the chest by the shadow creature, causing him to throw up blood—eyeing at Yusei with a frightened look)

As Kurayami vomited serious amounts of blood, the shadow creature would begin to hold onto both sides of his body, slowly tearing apart his body in half—with the bottom half standing still while the top half fell back onto the ground.

As Kurayami's body laid in half, the shadow creature began to draw its focus towards Yusei—as it began to roar viciously before dashing forward to Yusei.

Yusei: "..I need more energy before I die in the same fashion as that man.." Yusei started to regain his composure for a bit as he reached for his katana—sheathing it back into the holder on his back.

The Shadow Creature dashed forward, finally eyeing Yusei in the eye, roaring in his face before lifting him up by the collar of his shirt.

Yusei would try to get himself free from the grasp of the shadow creature but its grip was too strong for him to handle.

Yusei: "..I guess this is it… (Yusei was prepared to risk his own life for the sake of the mission, until someone or something crashed down—it however wasn't a human which made Yusei confused)

???: "Move out of the way, Human…" The angel-like being would call out to Yusei so they could shout at him loud enough.

Yusei would force himself to move out of the way, as the angel-like being slammed their fist into the shadow creature, causing a massive crater to be formed here.

Yusei: "W-Whoa, that would've killed me if I didn't hear the warning.." Yusei would sigh a bit, facing the angel-like being after the attack seemed to work.

Yusei: "Who exactly are you anyways?" Yusei would ask the angel-like being with a very serious look compared to about 5 seconds ago.

???: "My Name is Seere.." The Angel-like being would eye Yusei after they spoke up a bit.

Seere: "..We should have a proper introduction after we finish off this being in front of us." (Seere would lift their hand up, casting a bunch of tridents in a half like C shape, which were covered in strictly lightning magic)

Seere: "Lightning Magic: Trident of Hope" (As Seere shouted the name of the attack, the tridents began to rain down upon the shadow creature in the crater, electrocuting it)

Yusei: "Is it over?" (Yusei asked this to Seere, who was still fighting with the shadow creature)

Seere: "I don't sense anything down there…" (Seere began to stare down at the crater, as they decided to drop their guard until he was caught off guard by the shadow creature)

Seere: "What the—.." (The shadow creature appeared in front of Seere, slamming their hand into their stomach before connecting the other hand into their jaw—causing the angel itself to crash straight into the trees and into the pavement away)

Yusei: "…Seere!" (Yusei was shocked that Seere was taken down so easily despite being stronger than him, sighing)

Yusei: "…I must try harder than before.." (Yusei would get himself up slowly, as he took a deep breath—unleashing his remaining mana into his katana that he decided to unsheathe again from the holder)

Yusei: "..Darkness Magic: Night Slash.." (Yusei would elegantly dash forward, slowly picking up speed before grabbing the blade tightly—going for the attack)

Before Yusei could deliver the attack, the shadow creature was able to respond with an attack of its own—leading to clash between both Yusei's Night Slash and the attack that the shadow creature used.

Yusei: "…RAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" (Yusei would scream out as he finally broke through the shadow creature's attack—slicing through its body causing it to split apart and vanish away)

Yusei's katana would finally break after the attack was finished—causing him to sheath it into the holster, as he began to stare directly at the sky a bit.

Seere: "..Human, you did well." Seere would give the boy his props until they began to hover in the air—causing Yusei to look confused.

Seere: "..You shouldn't see this." Seere would charge a beam of lightning as they then hit Yusei in the chest with it—in the same fashion like he was fodder or something.

Seere: "..I understand you'll wonder about who I truly am, child.." (Seere eyed down at Yusei, realizing that the one who defeated the shadow creature was still a child)

Seere would extend his wings, as he began to fly into the sky—not being seen again.

…

We would fast forward a couple years into the present where we see Yusei and 3 other people inside of a building—sitting down in the lobby.

{3/5/2018} - Evening - Enter America

Yusei: "..This isn't what I had in mind…, Yoshimaru Sensei." (Yusei eyed his sensei then back at the other two people beside him as well)

Yoshimaru: "Just behave and try to be serious during our meeting with the prime minister here." (Yoshimaru would say this with a very slightly serious tone of voice)

Evelyn & Kenshiro would stay quiet, listening to their sensei while sitting beside Yusei, with a slight neutral expression.

We would fast forward to a few hours after the meeting with the prime minister—as we see Yusei and co. Standing on the sidewalk.

Evelyn: "Sensei, do we go to America in a day from now?" (Evelyn stared at Yoshimaru with slight concern in her eyes but understands that they must help out with eliminating the shadow creatures)

Yoshimaru: "Yes, We all meet up later tonight by the airport, understand?" (Yoshimaru would walk off from them, as he went on the city bus which was heading for Shibuya-Ku District)

Kenshiro: "What time do we meet up exactly?" (Kenshiro began to yawn a bit—looking a bit tired)

Yusei: "I don't know, ask sensei that question.." (Yusei would eye at Kenshiro with a deadpan expression)

Evelyn: "Yusei, Kenshiro stop arguing.." (Evelyn would give them both a glare—scaring the both of them)

Kenshiro: "O-Oh Okay.." (Kenshiro looked a bit scared of Evelyn since he finds her scary when she is angry)

Yusei: "R-Right…" (Yusei would look at Evelyn, slightly nervous)

Evelyn: "..The Mission starts when we reach America, okay." (Evelyn would tell Yusei & Kenshiro with a serious look)

Evelyn would begin to walk off from Yusei and Kenshiro, heading towards their school dormitory for the night.

Yusei: "What should we order for dinner?" (Yusei asked this nonchalantly to Kenshiro & Evelyn, while walking beside them)

Kenshiro: "PIZZA!" (Kenshiro would lick his lips thinking about all types of pizza choices)

Yusei took a small glance at Kenshiro with a very dumbfounded expression.

Yusei: "We get it, you are a fat ass." (Yusei would sound pretty cocky when saying this to Kenshiro with the same dumbfounded expression he had about 5 seconds ago)

Kenshiro: "…I am not a FATASS!!!" (Kenshiro would look a bit pissed off about what Yusei said)

Yusei and Kenshiro would smirk at each other with a cocky expression—lifting each other by the shirt.

Evelyn: "You two stop causing a SCENE!" (Evelyn would slam her right hand and left hand respectively—into both of their heads, causing Yusei and Kenshiro to twitch from the impact)

…

We would shift to the next day—when everyone finally woke up and traveled to Harajuku Aviation Hub—with their current stuff as they waited for Yoshimaru by the entrance.

Evelyn: "Yoshimaru Sensei isn't here yet so you two just sit and wait for him." (Evelyn would look around for him, leaving Yusei and Kenshiro by themselves for a moment)

Yusei: "…Having to wait for sensei is sometimes a hassle.." (Yusei began to yawn a bit—clearly looking a bit tired)

Kenshiro: "Hassle? What does that mean anyways..?" (Kenshiro would ask in very confused manner)

Yusei: "Don't worry about that for a moment haha.." (Yusei would scratch his head for a bit—clearly dumbfounded by Kenshiro's response)

Kenshiro: "You call me Dumb… (Kenshiro's face would show an angry expression, as he started to walk up to Yusei's face)…Yusei..?"

Yusei would smirk a bit at Kenshiro, as he would begin to open his mouth.

Yusei: "Oh You wanted to know if I called you dumb?" (Yusei smirked a bit more now—eyeing Kenshiro)

Kenshiro: "Yes, I wanted you to speak." (Kenshiro would stare at Yusei Seriously)

Yusei: "Yes I said you are dumb." (Yusei smirked more as he said this)

Yusei and Kenshiro began to face each other intensely—almost like they were about to fight each other.

Yusei and Kenshiro would step back from each other before they were about to focus their attention on themselves and no one else.

Evelyn would finally walk over with Yoshimaru Sensei, before Yusei and Kenshiro were about to start fighting.

Evelyn: "Oi, You Idiots should really… STOP CAUSING A SCENE." (Evelyn would walk up to both Kenshiro and Yusei, as she slammed her fists into the top of their heads respectively, knocking them out for a bit)

Yoshimaru: "Our Plane is ready…" (Yoshimaru would point at the Sign that shows that it'll take them to New York) 

Evelyn, Yusei & Kenshiro would follow Yoshimaru as they began to enter the plane that'll take them to New York.

…

The Plane would begin to take off, as it began to fly off to Buffalo, New York.

{3/6/2018} - Morning - Team Surge vs A Mysterious Foe

The Plane would land down, finally stopping as we then see our crew walking off to the front of the airport to get picked up by their personal driver that lived there.

The Man would lean by the car, waiting for Yoshimaru & his students—while smoking a cigar.

The Man looked like he was in his early 40s with long dreadlocks, a shiny silver chain with earrings filling his ears, wearing a Shadow the Hedgehog Hoodie with custom made techwear pants and custom made shadow the hedgehog black air forces—eyeing at people walking past with a mean expression.

???: "Where are these bastards at?" (He would say this in a very strong New York like accent, as he began to smoke his cigar again)

??? would see Yoshimaru and his crew walk over to him, causing him to smirk a bit—dapping up Yoshimaru.

???: "..The name is Asante Harris, I work as a personal driver but I train the other kids in dealing with these shadows in Connecticut."

Asante: "Sometimes you gotta show that there isn't a real difference from the original and the ones in their shadow.."

Yoshimaru: "I understand that…" (Yoshimaru would laugh a bit, scratching his head a bit)

Asante: "You are still wearing that mask ever since I first met you with Junpei…Huh?"

Yusei, Evelyn & Kenshiro would stay quiet, letting Asante & Yoshimaru speak for a bit—before they were allowed inside of the car.

Asante: "So, I think you guys should go to Savannah Georgia or to New York?" (Asante would question them a bit with a serious look)

Yoshimaru began to laugh a bit—as he eyed Asante before he opened his mouth.

Yoshimaru: "I'm sure they have themselves covered with stuff and actually have people defending them.." (Yoshimaru would enter the vehicle, after he spoke)

Asante: "So we are going to Connecticut…" (Asante sighed a bit, putting Evergreen, Connecticut on his gps)

Asante would enter the driver's seat, starting the car up—as they then drove off to Evergreen, Connecticut which is about 6 hours and 32 minutes.

We would fast forward to when they finally arrived at Connecticut—finally leaving the car—letting Asante drive off for now, until it was crushed by a random giant shadow.

Yoshimaru: "ASANTE!!!" (Yoshimaru would run over to the destroyed car to see if Asante was there but he wasn't—he was beside the students)

Asante: "Don't count me out yet, Yoshimaru.." (Asante would let his mana ablaze as he eyed the giant shadow that ended up destroying his car)

Asante began to stance like a martial arts—as he started to dash forward towards the giant shadow, sending a powerful cross jab into it's stomach—making it stumble over, before he infuse his mana into his right hand, striking the giant shadow into the air by executing a heavy uppercut.

The Giant Shadow began to fall over due to the sheer impact of the attack—causing Asante to whip out his pistol, stepping onto the shadow, pointing it at it's head.

Asante: "You aren't welcomed here, Bastard." (Asante would click the safety off of the pistol, shooting the Giant Shadow in the head, causing it to bleed out and then dissolve like smoke)

Asante would put the safety on, as he blew the smoke from the gun—walking slowly towards the group until Tragedy struck them—as a familiar Angel from Yusei's past was eyed down at them, extending a finger, firing a lightning beam straight through his chest, causing him to spit out blood and collapse from the impact.

Seere: "..Humans were never supposed to live." (Seere would summon their trident to his hand, eyeing at Yusei and the others)

Seere: "Lightning Magic: Trident of Hope" ( As Seere shouted the name of the attack, the tridents began to rain down upon Yusei, Kenshiro, Evelyn & Yoshimaru, causing them to quickly evade them with ease)

Seere: "…YOU HUMANS ARE ANNOYING..JUST LEARN TO SAY DEAD ALREADY!!!" (Seere would eye Asante who was trying to get up somehow, causing them to stop floating and stomp down on the ground—landing on his head, crushing it completely—letting blood spill out on the road, making Yoshimaru, Evelyn, Kenshiro and Yusei very angry)

Seere eyed Yusei, recognizing him as the dark magic user with the big ego who they helped in 2009 against the giant shadow being.

Seere: "You there, dark magic boy… how about I spare your life and let you be the first human to join the greatest race in existence." (Seere would smirk with a cocky expression—but a slightly deep voice)

Yusei: "You think I'm going to help some angelic bitch who killed an acquaintance of ours?" (Yusei began to surge his mana, walking slowly towards Seere)

Seere would hold onto their trident as they began to start their first move.

Seere: "Lightning Magic: Body Double" (Seere would create a lightning infused clone of themselves to rush Yusei)

Yusei: "You don't get it, do you-..."(Yusei began to rant a bit, letting his darkness magic surge on his hands—as he continued)"…-I'm not the same kid as before and obviously I'm not alone on this either."

As Yusei said this, Yoshimaru, Evelyn & Kenshiro would walk over beside him—with a serious expression, going into their respective fighting stances facing Seere.

Evelyn: "..Yusei, We are always here for you, understand." (Evelyn eyed Seere as she surged her mana, as it formed into a yellowish electricity color)

Evelyn eyed Seere realizing she is at a disadvantage since they have lightning Magic while she has electricity magic which is pretty much the same thing.

Kenshiro: "…I guess I'll use that for the first time.." (Kenshiro would unleash his mana letting the blue color flow around him, as it formed into water)

Kenshiro grinned a bit as he eyed Seere, knowing that he has a good advantage on him due to water being very strong against lightning.

Yoshimaru: "…You lot ready?" (Yoshimaru would eye at his students, causing them to shout back)

All 3: "We are Ready" (Yusei, Evelyn and Kenshiro would eye Seere, before dashing forward towards them)

Yoshimaru would dash over before his students, slamming his foot directly into Seere's Torso, causing them to spit out in agony after they smashed into the ground.

Seere: "LIGHTNING MAGIC: SPARK BUSTER!" (As Seere Said this, he would form into a ball, charging his mana letting it expand within him before exploding)

Kenshiro: "Yusei, I think this might be a quick fight so just finish this yourself.." (Kenshiro would use his water magic to give Yusei some speed to land his attack)

Yusei: "Darkness Magic: Emperor's Wrath" (Yusei would create a line using his hand which was infused with Darkness Magic, as it then bursted into an explosion—hitting Seere with it, causing them to scream in agony, crashing to the ground.)

Seere would begin to laugh, before eyeing Yoshimaru, Evelyn & Kenshiro—quickly knocking them out with ease, leaving Yusei to look stunned at this.

Seere: "Lightning Magic: Surge" (Seere would begin to be coated in their Lightning aura, facing only Yusei)

Yusei: "It kind of sucks that I'm going to have to use this attack on you and you only…" (Yusei would unsheathe his wooden katana, which caught Seere's attention) 

Yusei would infuse his darkness magic into his wooden katana, as he then started to dash forward towards Seere.

Seere: "W-What are you doing?" (Seere eyed Yusei with very scared look, almost like they can see a resemblance between a Demon and Yusei)

Seere: "I'm not going to find out what you will do either….(Seere would infuse all of their mana into their body, as they started to chant a magic empowered explosion Technique)…-Lightning Magic: Thunderforge Collapse.." (Seere would stand still for a moment, channeling their mana and their own life force energy into a single point of their point which is their left hand, as they casted a lightning bolt, catching it before it fell onto the ground)

Seere would mold the lightning bolt into a katana of their own as they then dashed forward towards Yusei.

Yusei: "..Farewell, Enemy…"(Yusei would sprint forward towards Seere's oncoming Technique, as he decided to respond with a technique of his own)

Yusei: (cont.) "Darkness Magic: Black Hole Equinox.." (Yusei would end up clashing against Seere's Thunderforge Collapse attack)

Yusei would think of his brother who he abandoned, his friends and those who supported him, while in the middle of clashing against Seere.

Seere: "I'll KILL YOU AND purge this mortal world in darkness."

Yusei: "I won't let you destroy my WORLD!!" (With this resolve, Yusei would burst in power and break through Seere's attack with ease)

Seere: "This can't be, I can't be defeated LIKE THIS!!!!!!" (Seere would begin to twitch as their body was lifted upwards—exploding, causing Yusei to crash to the ground from the impact of the explosion)

Seere's Purplish Blue blood began to rain down after their body was destroyed for good.

Yusei would begin to get up slowly, slightly hurt a bit—eyeing a walk-in clinic on the other street, causing him to help his team up.

As He woke up his teammates, they all walked over to the walk-in clinic to get healed up.

Yusei would begin to walk past someone who was almost like him in a way with his sister and mother.

Kairo glances over at Yusei, before eyeing back at his sister, Miyu and his mother, Koharu—walking past Yusei.

Yusei: "..He might be a weakling, well not my problem." (Yusei would eye outside, noticing another giant shadow with all of their smaller shadows around it, causing Yusei to warn the others)

Evelyn & Kenshiro nodded to Yusei, making them wait for Yoshimaru—however he wanted to head to the Hotel that they are staying at so they can strategize on how they can find "The Divine One" which is what they are here for.

Yoshimaru: "You three deal with the shadows and head over to the location of the hotel.." (Yoshimaru would send Evelyn, Yusei & Kenshiro the location of the hotel before he decided to head off in the opposite direction as them)

As Yoshimaru was already off—Yusei, Kenshiro & Evelyn would get into their team formation, standing beside one another.

Yusei, Evelyn and Kenshiro would begin to dash forward over to where those shadows were heading towards, which was a small city area that was abandoned with some active office buildings.

Fun Fact: The timeskip half of soulless takes place before the Yusei vs Kairo arc in Abyssal Shadow..

Abyssal Shadow will return normally soon so I'm gonna start from where I left off.

Sonic Movie 3 and Shadow Generations brought back my motivation to write.
