Serena thought the biggest frustration in her life was being unable to transform into a wolf. As a result, she was taken by her father as a humiliation for Lancaster Family, even though she had done her best to prove herself. When Serena was mistaken as a spy and about to be sent to the execution ground, Baird was the one who rushed out and stood in front of her to protect her. But, wait a second. What did he call Alpha Grayson, the notorious tyrant? Did he just call the tyrant… “Father?”

The forest was eerily silent as I sat beside Baird, his unconscious form stretched out on the cold, damp ground. His breathing was shallow, and the wound on his side was bleeding profusely. I had done what I could with my limited knowledge of first aid, but it was clear that he needed more than just makeshift bandages. My thoughts raced as I looked at the blood-soaked cloth strips that were once my shirt. I needed herbs, and I needed them fast. 


Leaving him alone felt like a betrayal, but staying here and doing nothing would be worse. Baird, a member of the Storm Pack, had saved me from the rogues. The least I could do was try to save his life in return.
