Serena thought the biggest frustration in her life was being unable to transform into a wolf. As a result, she was taken by her father as a humiliation for Lancaster Family, even though she had done her best to prove herself. When Serena was mistaken as a spy and about to be sent to the execution ground, Baird was the one who rushed out and stood in front of her to protect her. But, wait a second. What did he call Alpha Grayson, the notorious tyrant? Did he just call the tyrant… “Father?”

And yet, if they hadn’t, then how was Baird here when he had been attacked by rogues? There were too many pieces of the puzzle to put together for so many people who had not been there to see the events themselves.


“He has saved us!” A member of the crowd close to the platform yelled. “Surely the Moon Goddess would have punished us had we executed a savior, not a spy!”


“Yeah!” Another person agreed. “A combat hero’s savior! We would all be doomed.”
