Ch 19

Once Taylor opened his eyes he saw himself in his laboratory bedroom,Taylor then began to sit up and noticed thet Firefly was sleeping at his bedside.

Taylor also noticed that her eyes were red, there was tear marks on her cheeks and her hair was a beautiful mess.

While Taylor wanted to pat her head or run his hand through her hair, he decided against it as he didn't want to wake her up when she clearly needed the sleep.

As he kept looking around the room he also noticed that there was a lot of dirty dishes with some food scraps still on them, nearly 2 weeks worth of dirty dishes.

Taylor then felt something in his left hand, he looked down and saw the bag of holding.

" Well you are a wonderful sight to see." Taylor felt glad that the bag of holding had arrived safely at his side.

Taylor then opened the bag of holding and then information flooded his mind forming an image in his mind similar to a game inventory with every item that he has put inside his bag of holding in each square.

After confirming that everything he put in it was there Taylor closed the bag of holding and lay back down to rest, as his body and soul still needed some time to completely reconnect.

After an hour, while Taylor was playing a game on his omniverse holographic phone he noticed the Firefly beginning to wake up.

So Taylor put the phone in his bag of holding and began to stroke her hair.

' It seems like I fell asleep at his bedside again.' Was Firefly's first thought when she felt herself wake up.

For the last twelve days sense having her own body and soul she has been focusing on Taylor and his wellness.

For the first 4 days she was extremely terrified as to what might have happened to Taylor and why he still wasn't up.

But on the fifth day her body and soul completely harmonised and she could feel the connection between both her and Taylor's soul she was able to confirm the fact that he was safe and alive but she couldn't communicate with him which still terrified her.

After all like Taylor, Firefly has always been with him and had never been unable to communicate with him, and the only reason she didn't communicate with him while he sleept was because of an agreement they made all those millions of years ago.

Only on one occasion did she communicate to him when he rested after the agreement was made.

Fortunately like Taylor she was able to stay strong in thanks to the connection between their souls.

While the days passed food kept being delivered daily, but they were intended for Taylor not Firefly so the portion sizes were quite a bit bigger that what Firefly's body could currently handle.

Firefly also didn't know any teleportation spells to send them to get cleaned like Taylor usually did.

Fortunately for her because of Taylor's research, the Androids didn't find anything out of the ordinary with the dishes not being sent to get cleaned every day.

She also decided to not inform his android wives so as to not put them in to a panic as they have never experienced a situation like this, even though she knew that Taylor would not approve of this decision.

But on day eleven, Firefly got very close to being found out by the androids.

As she was caring for Taylor's body, one of his wives came over to inform him about the research group's breakthrough.

The wife that came was 1O one of the Operator types that is the head Researcher of all research units that have been studying the 'item'.

She has long flowing white hair but half way down, her white heir turned green, her eyes are like red fluorite, on the right side of her head she has a green and gold hair piece the same colour scheme as her high heels.

Their unit had made a new breakthrough in their research on the 'item' and she was sent to inform Taylor about it.

When 1O knocked on the door she knew that Taylor had gotten extremely in Researching something that he said would remain a secret until he finished it, only then would he show them what he had been working on.

But he also told the Research units that are working on the 'Item' that one they made a breakthrough they can go straight to him.

So once 1O arrived outside of Taylor's lab and gave the signal that was only known between the androids that are a part of the research group and Taylor, she waited for a corresponding reply.

But none of the chosen Androids were aware that one other aside from Taylor also knew about the secret communication code.

And that is Firefly who was still a part of him when the code was being created.

The only issue it that 1O like all the other Androids would recognise a new voice when they heard one.

So Firefly needed to not only give the code to 1O but also make it so that her voice isn't heard.

Her first thought was to write the code down and pass it to her through the door but then she remembered that the code needed to be given vocally.

Fortunately for Firefly, 1O expected a wait considering how long Taylor can focus on something when there is no distractions.

So Firefly first tried to use a voice changer but it didn't sound quite right to her, she then tried to some voice changing techniques for her own vocal cords like what voice actors and voice mimics do but that also wouldn't work as it would take too long.

But then she found Taylor's voice copier a much better version of a voice changer that he would use for when he sets up any voice recognition software so that him and all the others can use what ever was getting voice recognition added to it.

After Firefly confirmed that Taylor's voice was also in its database she simply put in the code to let them know that Taylor is in a flow state in his research and would take a break in about 3 days and had the voice copier play it.

Once 1O heard the code she replied with acknowledgment and went to return to the area where they are researching the 'Item'.

And then on the 12th day, even though she tried to keep a healthy sleep routine he still pushed her body a bit to far so while she was sitting at Taylor's bedside she ended up passed out.

Then after resting for an unknown length of time she finally woke up.

As Firefly woke up she felt very groggy but after a short while she felt something stroking her hair.

But like with many instead of thinking about why she is feeling something stroking her hair, she just enjoyed the feeling, but that is still understandable as any biological being is usually not of sharp mind when they had just woken up.

So Naturally after a enjoying the feeling for a while her mind finally got out of neutral and went in to 1st gear.

Firefly's eyes opened wide and her body shot up, startled by the realisation of what must of happened for her to be feeling her hair being stroked.

She looked to her left and felt overwhelmed by what she saw.

" Hallo sleepy head I'm glad to see your up." Taylor said with a light smile on his face.

Firefly's eyes began to tear up and with her voice cracking said, " I.. should… be… saying.. That to… you." She lunged into Taylor and hugged him while her tears flowed freely.

Taylor hugged her back and kept stroking her hair.

" Yea fair enough, sorry for the scare." Taylor said.

Taylor and Firefly remained in the same position for 15 Minutes until Firefly finally finished letting her emotions flow out.

After calming down Firefly sat up and looked at Taylor.

" So what happened to you? The only thing that kept me sane was being able to feel the connection between us." She asked.

" Well the short answer is that I met the Creator." Taylor replied.

" When you say Creator are you Talking about… That creator." Firefly asked while pointing upwards.

Taylor nodded.

" Well… now I want to hear the long answer." Firefly said.

Taylor had no problems with that but just to be safe he asked God if he was cool with that as well, after all they did talk about a lot of things that possibly shouldn't be talked about with others.

Once Taylor asked he heard God responded in his mind that it was fine to talk about it all of it with Firefly and the androids, but not to talk too much about the details with the humans that will come to be in the future nor other sentient life that he may met in the future.

Technically Taylor was talking to the full holy trinity that is God, not just the Father who was the one he met when he was in heaven.

After getting the all clear Taylor began to tell Firefly all about it, the sights he saw, what he felt, what they talked about and the results of the 110 pulls.

After Firefly heard all the details she felt amazed, she then proceeded to ask Taylor many questions of her own in regards to the questions Taylor asked and the answers God gave to them.

After talking for about 2 hours Firefly finally finished her questions and took a break, Then Taylor asked a question of his own.

" By the way Firefly, why aren't my wives here? I would have thought that would have made a daily rotation to watch over me with you." Taylor asked.

Firefly looked downward and answered, " I… uh… I kept your state secret from them."

Once Taylor heard Firefly's reply he was displeased at what she chose to do.
