"Every single piece of your body, I'll personally feed to my dogs," Jake snarled with fury. "Before you die, I'll make you feel death so many times that you'll regret ever crossing Jake Singhania!"
"Yawn... all you do is talk," Om said, faking frustration. "Come on, man! Can you do anything else? You've killed my mood to fight. These so-called gangsters are so lame nowadays."
"You're in such a hurry to die, huh?" Jake roared. "Men, fulfill his wish!"
On Jake's command, his men rushed at Om like a pack of wolves. Outside the room, the Kathwani family, Om's family, and the mayor stood anxiously, waiting for Om to come out. They knew Om had done a brave deed, but leaving him alone with such dangerous people worried them deeply. Just then, they heard sounds of a violent scuffle from inside.
Sharada, full of worry, turned to Vijay, her voice trembling, "Please, go and check on him! Why hasn't he come out yet? I'm scared... do something! And now I hear fighting noises from inside."
Vijay, irritated, replied, "What nonsense are you spouting? Didn't you see how many people were in there? How can I go in? Don't worry, Om has Jake's gun with him. He'll be fine."
"But how many people can one gun handle at once?" Sharada retorted, her fear growing. "He saved your daughter's life! What kind of father are you? Even after his sacrifices, you haven't changed at all. Are you even human? Fine, if you won't go, I'll go save him myself."
As Sharada moved forward, Vijay grabbed her arm, saying, "Wait, I'll go."
With a reluctant sigh, Vijay slowly opened the door and stepped inside. The sight that met his eyes left him utterly speechless.
Inside the hall, Om was throwing Jake and his men around like ragdolls, as if they were nothing more than sacks of wheat. Vijay was stunned to see Om's ferocity. Deep down, he began to feel a sense of pride for Om. As he stood there, lost in thought, Om had already taken down every last one of Jake's goons. After stylishly defeating them all, Om wiped his hands clean. That's when his eyes caught sight of Vijay standing near the door. Om was surprised.
"Uncle, what are you doing here? Get out of the room now!" Om shouted.
Vijay, startled by Om's command, stammered, "I... I just came to check on you... your aunt was worried about you."
As uncle and nephew exchanged words, Jake, still lying on the floor, slyly pulled out a hidden pistol from his boot and aimed it at Vijay. A shot rang out, startling Vijay, who instinctively closed his eyes and screamed in fear. When he opened them, he was shocked to find Om standing in front of him, taking the bullet meant for him.
"Om!" Vijay cried out, his voice a mix of shock and fear. He realized that the bullet had struck Om's shoulder, and it had penetrated deep. Blood began to pour out of Om's wound.
"You took a bullet for me... to save my life?" Vijay asked, staring at Om in disbelief, tears welling up in his eyes.
But Om ignored his uncle's words, his eyes burning with rage as he turned toward Jake. In a flash, Om rushed at Jake, lifting him with both hands and slamming him to the ground with such force that Jake let out a scream before losing consciousness. The sound of bones breaking filled the room.
Vijay couldn't take his eyes off Om. Guilt began to gnaw at him as he reflected on how he had treated Om until now. Om, now seething with anger, walked over to Vijay and scolded him, "You shouldn't have come in here. If I had been even a second late, you..."
Vijay, shaken and regretful, couldn't respond. Despite being shot, Om showed no sign of weakness. However, as Vijay was still processing everything, Om suddenly began to lose his balance. Just as he was about to collapse, Vijay caught him and supported him as they made their way out of the room.
Outside, everyone was waiting anxiously for Om and Vijay. As they saw Vijay carrying Om, their initial joy turned into concern. Sharada rushed to Om, tears streaming down her face.
"Did they...?" Sharada asked, her voice shaking, unable to finish the sentence.
"No," Vijay replied gently, understanding her question. "When I went in to get Om, he was fighting them off. But when I entered, Jake tried to shoot me. Om... Om saved my life by taking the bullet himself."
Hearing this, Sharada, sobbing, could only manage to ask, "So, what now?"
Vijay reassured her, "He's not dead. He passed out because he's lost a lot of blood."
Just then, the special task force arrived and quickly apprehended Jake and his men.
The mayor, concerned, asked Vijay, "What happened to them? Did Om...?"
"No, Om didn't kill anyone," Vijay replied calmly, his eyes fixed on Om. "He just beat them up so badly that they can't even stand."
Everyone felt a deep sense of pride for Om, but seeing him unconscious and in pain filled them with worry.
As Vijay explained, Supriya couldn't take her eyes off Om. She was utterly impressed by his bravery and had started to develop feelings for him. Seeing him in this state made her heart ache with concern. While everyone was worried, Supriya's emotions were different—those of a woman in love.
Vijay suddenly spoke up, panicked, "We need to get him treated quickly. If he loses any more blood... I fear... (he couldn't finish his sentence). Please, can we get a bed, an empty room, and a surgery kit?"
The mayor quickly instructed the hotel manager, who promptly arranged everything needed to save Om.
Some time later, in a quiet room, Om slowly opened his eyes to find Sharada and the others standing by his bedside. Seeing Om awake brought smiles to their faces.
"Om Bhaiya, are you okay?" Riya asked, her voice full of joy.
"Om, you saved everyone," Mr. Kathwani said with a smile.
"You did something incredible, Om," Abhay added, beaming with pride.
Everyone spoke at once, their voices filled with admiration. Sharada gently caressed Om's head and asked, "How are you feeling now? Are you okay, Om, dear?"
Om smiled weakly and nodded.
After expressing their heartfelt gratitude, the Kathwani family and the mayor decided to let Om rest and left for their homes. Only Vijay's family and Om remained behind. Sharada looked at Vijay, and he understood her unspoken request.
"Let's go home, everyone," Vijay said, starting to move.
Om watched Vijay leave and then turned to Sharada. She smiled at him, and he returned the smile.
A little while later...
Vijay's family and Om arrived home. Sharada supported Om as they walked inside.
"Om, you need to rest for a few days, understand?" Sharada said as she helped him up the stairs.
In the hall, Vijay stood, staring at the floor. "Everyone, sit here. I need to talk."
Everyone looked at Vijay in surprise, but he kept his gaze fixed on the ground.
Sharada glanced at Om, who smiled and nodded, and they all sat down on the sofa, waiting to hear what Vijay had to say.
