WHAT THE FUCK?

Everything else around us blurred into nothingness the moment Autumn took that final step toward me. The night air felt charged, heavy with something I did not want to name, but could not deny. My breath hitched, my heart hammering in my chest as her eyes flickered down to my lips.

I should have moved, should have said something, should have done anything to stop what was happening—but I did not. Hell, I could not. I was frozen, rooted to the spot as she closed the distance between us.

And then it happened.

Her lips pressed against mine, soft and warm, with a sweetness that took me completely off guard. There was nothing rushed about it—no force, no urgency—just a slow, tender kiss that sent a jolt of electricity down my spine. It was like she was taking her time, savoring the moment as much as I was, and for one blissful second, I let myself fall into it.
