When Narcissus tried to scrape off the face of her new adorable body, she found an abyssal void with little to no end.

Between Kuzunoha and Viviane working tirelessly on countermeasures for the Pallid Mermaids, the neuromorphic reinforcements I'd implemented, and the sheer scale of our findings within the abyssal layers, the entire expedition had ballooned into something far more cumbersome than I had anticipated.
