Anti-gravity

In the end, the party of five decides to proceed. Anyway, they had already wasted a lot of time and energy. It would be a pity to just give up. Not to mention, Dylan's display of strength and Orochi's ultimate skill, 'Sunlight,' gave them a lot of confidence.

On the other hand, Dylan, who was scheming a sneak attack on Orochi, dispelled his thoughts after he witnessed Sunlight. That was too dangerous with low chances of escape. Even with Fly, can he outrun the sunlight? The speed of light wasn't something he could currently contend with.

'Maybe if he drains his mana again? But I don't know if he's still hiding cards in his sleeves.'

Dylan didn't forget that Orochi could recover his mana by borrowing the power of the sun. All in all, Orochi was worthy of his status as the Incarnation of the Sun God. Such a troublesome existence was almost equivalent to a damned protagonist of a novel.

Just like that, ten hours went by with the group nonstop travel on foot. They reached the Lake of Peace. As the name suggests, it was peaceful.

The group was surrounded by fluffy pandas and blue lions that could spit water. The creatures in the Lake of Peace had a gentle demeanor and were harmless if not provoked. However, there are always hooligans that dare to cause trouble.

Dylan could still remember a player who was beaten to death due to attempting to steal one of the fluffy pandas. They're cute but their physical strength is comparable to an average level 30 NPC. They also knew martial arts.

"These midgets are adorable." Kevin had the urge to pinch the cheek of a white panda that clung to his foot.

On the other hand, Kenjaku and Dylan were respectively riding on top of blue lions.

"If the other areas in this place were as peaceful as this..." Although Hank looks like a fearsome warrior due to his scar. He has a soft, gentle side to him.

Orochi opened his eyes and looked at Dylan. "So many stops do we still need before reaching that Starry Domain?"

Dylan realized that after battling alongside Orochi against the ghouls. The latter had actually acknowledged his strength. This flattered Dylan a little. After all, Orochi is a special existence. To be able to get his approval means that he has come a long way!

"Another four stops. We won't need to worry about other creatures except for the Warmongers. The only dangerous element in those four places was the environment themselves."

Hearing this, Orochi nodded and returned to silence. He didn't know what Dylan's goal in the Starry Domain was, but the latter promised him that there were heavenly treasures inside the Domain. He was also curious about the Starry Domain that he had never heard of even in the Domain of Gods in his memory.

Another day passed, if it was outside the Midnight Shadow Mountain, it would already be morning. But in the mountains, the surroundings were still dark and it was still the same starry sky above.

"Honestly, I'm tired of seeing the same thing again and again. Why can't there be a day in this damned place?" Hank complained but Dylan just shrugged in response.

How would he be supposed to know? It was the way the game designer programmed the setting of Midnight Shadow Mountain. It didn't have a lore or story about this.

"So this is the Enchanted Lake?"

Kevin smiled as he looked around.

Dylan also smiled and said. "Yes, A lake surrounded by high cliffs with anti-gravity waterfalls."

Instead of water falling down, water flows up. This is because of the anti-gravity waterfalls that the game IT team designed.

"The water really flows up the waterfall. Nah, it should be called Water Ascent, right?" Kenjaku said in jest, trying to lighten the mood a little due to the monotonous exploration.

Dylan couldn't understand Kenjaku's nature. Sometimes, the bastard was serious, and sometimes, he liked to clown.

"Aside from making the water flow up. This anti-gravity had no practical use at all. I'm curious, does this make the fish swim upwards as well?"

"What kind of stupid question is that? Let's go, use this waterfall to clean ourselves. The stench of blood from previous battles is still hanging on me."

"Good idea." Dylan stared at these dirt-laden cloud boots.

...

After cleaning themselves, Orochi's group reached the Bohemian Grassland in an hour. Grey-grass grassland with small floating stones that can be plucked from the air. It was quite a sight.

Following that, they reached Electro Dessert, A dry desert that experiences thunderstorms but the ground is always dry. Dylan didn't know what the game designers were drinking when they designed the setting of the terrains inside Midnight Shadow Mountain. Are they high taking meth? He had to admit that they're indeed creative with terrains.

Just like that he told them. There's no danger posed by native creatures anymore. Only the weird and harsh terrains brought a sense of danger to them.

After all, there were anti-gravity falls, stones that could be plucked in the air, and thunderstorms in a desert. What bizarre harmful phenomenon is hidden that might harm them?

"Damn it! I can feel it again..."

In front of them, after they got past the Electro Dessert, a massive dome of lava could be seen, inside is a flourishing red forest.

"The warmongers are trailing us again!!"

Kevin and Hank shouted.

Orochi opened his eyes with solemnity. It's different from before. He could feel them a lot closer.

Suddenly, under everyone's gaze. Dozens of blood-red eyes appeared everywhere glaring at them chillingly.

"Run!!" Dylan who saw this scene lost his composure and dashed forward in fright. Then, he went inside the red forest.

He looked back only to see the four others in toe. As for the red eyes around, they're nowhere to be seen.

"What the hell is that Dylan!?" Kevin took a step forward and shook Dylan's body with anger.

This annoyed Dylan, but he still composed himself. "That situation is dangerous just now. We almost died." A lingering fear appeared on Dylan's face as he remembered something.

"Why?" With eyebrows raised, Kenjaku asked skeptically.
