Chapter 1 (Godly Shadows): (Present time) In a faraway planet called Exfodia there's a battle between two people on a deserted field. Out of nowhere, somebody in the battle gets thrown off into a rock pillar. As he crashes into the rock pillar, he groans in pain. He slowly falls to the ground. He starts to slowly try to stand up but can only get one knee up. As he kneels, he looks into his hands as they shake from fear. He suddenly starts facing his opponent as he picks a sword handle and creates a sword out of pure energy. A small group nearby starts to yell at him. "PLEASE LYNX!!! DON'T GIVE UP!!! YOU CAN BEAT THIS GUY!!!" Lynx starts to smirk at the group knowing they believe in him. He then yells at his opponent with a rage in his voice. "ONYX SNAP OUT OF IT... THIS ISN'T YOU... HE IS USING YOU!!! CMON I KNOW YOU CAN SNAP OUT OF IT!!! " From far away Onyx looks at Lynx and he grins, he then says to him "Lynx... The one you know as Onyx is gone… The only thing left is this… This is what had to be done… Now stop getting in the way and let me KILL YOU!!!" He starts to emit a red aura around his body. The aura slowly starts to transform Onyx into a demonic beast. Lynx sees this and starts to worry, he says "Oh no...". We then see Onyx transformed into a demonic bull. But it didn't stop there, a purple aura started to appear as well covering Onyx's Demonic Bull. Lynx, now worried, tried to get up and fight but as soon as he started to charge his power up, he noticed his energy was low and couldn't do much. Even his sword started to disappear. Out of nowhere, Onyx starts to tear the ground behind him leaving a giant crater. Onyx then says to Lynx with a disappointed look in his eyes. "Such a shame Lynx… I really thought that we might have had a chance to rule together… But you made me do this… Goodbye brother…" He threw the ground he picked up at Lynx. As Lynx stares at the massive boulder,d he closes his eyes and says his last words before he gets crushed. "I'm sorry everyone... I couldn't save you all… I wish I could have done something better than this…" The boulder crushes him. 

(2 months ago) Exfodia, there are many villages but there was one house on the edge of the woods near a village not that far away. There was a boy on his bed sleeping, until out of nowhere he hears a voice yelling at him. "LUCIFER!!!!". Suddenly Lucifer wakes up and falls off of bed startled, he groans and gets up. "That's one hell of a wake-up..." He looks at his clock and sees that's barely 9 o'clock. He groans and starts to get ready. He heads downstairs saying to his mother "What is it Mom?". His mother looks at him with a sarcastic expression. "Oh so you finally decided to wake up... You probably stayed up all night again didn't you?" Lucifer all confused said to him "No?.. I just lost track of time and dozed off again..." "Yeah sure thing... Anyways since your father isn't going to be here until late in the afternoon because of work. I want you to spend some time outside and take some time off that video game you always play." Lucifer confused at her says "Wha-.. I don't spend that much time playing video games.". They both give each other blank stares. The room fills with awkward silence. "Ok fine I'll go spend some time outside..." "Good... Now here's some money for you to spend at the fair near the town. Should be enough to get you to spend a few hours there..." "Ok, sounds good Mom..." Lucifer then heads for the door but as soon as he touches the door his mom tells him one more thing. "Oh Lucifer, one more thing. When you're done, could you go get some water from the lake?" Lucifer confused as to why he was the one who needed to do it, just looked at his mom and nodded, and said "Sure thing... Well bye, Mom". We then see Lucifer head outside. 

As he starts to walk to the town nearby but when he takes one step, all of a sudden, the wind starts to blow against him pushing him back a bit. Lucifer struggling to stay on his feet, he suddenly sees a shiny orb go past him. But out of nowhere the wind stops, and Lucifer says to himself "What the hell was wrong with that wind? It just came out of nowhere!" He suddenly thought of the shiny orb that went past him. "Now that I think of it, that orb did look really important." Out of curiosity, he went into the woods to check what it was. Instead of going to the fair Lucifer decides to head through the woods. As he was walking more deeper into the woods he was already tired from all the walking around the rough surface. He said to himself "God why did my curiosity get the better of me… I could have been better off just going to the fair." While he was walking through the forest frustrated, he heard a voice suddenly calling a name. "Lynx… Lynx… You're the chosen one…" Lucifer stopped in fear and started to say out loud. "Lynx?.. Who the hell is Lynx?". Out of nowhere, a blue orb appears in front of him. Lucifer jumps back as he is startled by the blue orb. The orb suddenly starts to speak louder to him and keeps getting louder as it repeats the same sentence. "Lynx… Lynx… You're the chosen one…" Lucifer, confused at what is happening right now, says out loud. "I don't know what is going on right now but-". The orb caught his attention and looked intrigued. He starts to reach out for the orb. "I don't know what it is about this orb but… It seems like it's calling me Lynx?" As soon as he touches the orb his eyes start to glow white. He screams from the pain he is experiencing. The ground starts to shake around him and the pebbles and water from the lake start to rise from the ground. Suddenly everything goes back to normal, everything just drops from the air and Lucifer passes out. 

Later, Lucifer wakes up in a different place than where he was. He wakes up on top of a bed. Lucifer looks around the room, the room seems to be from a castle. He didn't question where he was, he just left the room and started to walk around the castle. As he is walking he stares into some pictures hanging from the wall. He stops and sees one in particular. It's him with two other people in the frame. Suddenly he hears something fall from the kitchen. He rushed to see what it was. He arrives at the kitchen and sees someone on the floor holding his chest. He noticed that it was his father. He rushes over, gets on his knees, and says to him "Father!!! Are you okay?!?" His father looks over and looks Lucifer in the eyes. "Lynx… I don't know how much time I have left… But you're next in line…" Lucifer confusedly said to him "Dad?.. What do you mean next in line?. Please stay with me, we will get help soon!!.." The king starts to cough up blood but says to Lucifer "My time has come… There's no need to try and save me… Lynx, you're next in line to be king…" His condition is getting dramatically worse. "Lynx… Promise me this… Protect everyone you love and care… Don't make the same mistake I did… I love you and your brother more than anything, please protect the kingdom with your heart…" Suddenly his father starts to cough up too much blood. Lucifer starts panicking "Dad?.. DAD!!!" His father stops moving. Lucifer sees this and starts to cry as he is holding his father. He started to scream for help. But nobody came. All of a sudden he hears a voice behind him "So… You get to be next in line? That's not right… WHY YOU?" Lucifer looks behind him and sees his brother. "Onyx?.. What's wrong with you?" Onyx starts to emit a red aura behind him with a hint of purple. A dark figure stands behind them. The figure looks demonic. Lucifer, even more confused, asked Onyx again "What's wrong with you Onyx?" Onyx suddenly snapped and his aura shook the room. "I don't know… maybe it's the fact that you get to be THE NEXT KING!.. WHY YOU?!? It should have been me… You're just a whiny piece of shit… But our shit of a father decided to go with you…" Lucifer gets angry from what Onyx is saying to him. "Don't talk like that about our father… He knows best." Suddenly Onyx's energy explodes. "OH DOES HE NOW LYNX?.. Then he should have known how pathetic and weak you are…" Onyx starts to emit a red blade from his hand, as this is happening Lucifer is confused and says to Onyx "Onyx?.." Onyx suddenly rushes and stabs Lucifer in the heart. The last word we hear from him is "ONYX!!!". 

Lucifer wakes up in shock and gets up from the ground. He is confused as he sees that he is back in the forest. He stands up and gets a headache. He groans and says "Ugh… What a horrible nightmare." He then remembered the nightmare. He looks at his chest and then at his hands. He noticed that his hands were shaking. He says to himself "Was… I, Lynx?" He looks up into the sky and sees that it is getting dark. Lucifer then goes into a panic. "Wait!!! It's already dark?!?! How long did I pass out for?!? I didn't even get the water my mother wanted!!!" He rushed over to his house to go get some buckets to pick up the water. As he goes to get water, a ship starts to orbit around Exfodia's galaxy. On the ship, there is someone running to the command center. The person suddenly stops in front of a greater figure who is sitting looking in front of a monitor. Suddenly they start saying to the greater figure "Boss?…". The greater figure turns off the monitor and puts it to the side. Two red eyes appear and they look at the person. "What is it, Minion?" Minion starts to tremble a bit but replies. "We have found strange power signals coming from a planet in section 17-Z green. The planet is called Exfodia." Suddenly the greater figure in the chair stands up and walks to a window near the command center. He looks at the window. "Exfodia?.. Interesting… Set course for that planet immediately… I think we found what we were looking for." He then grins and says out loud "After all these years… I may have found something not even my father or brother Lynx could find… An Elemento". (end of chapter)
