Lynx, Kris, and Hiro had been traveling deeper into the forest for days, following the stone tablet they retrieved from the Temple of Gaia. The dense trees and uneven terrain stretched endlessly before them. Kris groaned, dragging his feet. "What the hell happened to three days of travel? I'm getting tired of all this walking. I don't know how you guys aren't exhausted." Lynx shot him an annoyed look. "Well, I thought it would only take three days, but the stone tablet made it seem closer than it actually is. We should be close, though." He pulled the tablet from his bag, scanning its ancient markings. Suddenly, he stopped, causing both Kris and Hiro to halt behind him.
Hiro narrowed his eyes. "What is it? Did you find something?" Lynx furrowed his brows. "We're right on top of the Earth Elemento… but there's no temple here. Just trees and dirt." Kris shrugged. "You did find the Water Elemento in the middle of nowhere, remember? No temple, just that orb." "Maybe," Hiro suggested, "you need to use your own Elemento to reveal another. It might sound dumb, but it's worth a try." Lynx hesitated but nodded, handing his bag and weapons to Kris and Hiro. He sat down, crossed his legs, and closed his eyes. The forest grew eerily silent. The distant sounds of birds, the rustling leaves, and the gentle water flow from the lake were all that remained. Lynx slowed his breathing, reaching out with his energy. His soul stirred, warmth spreading through his core, like a fire awakening inside him. The nearby water responded, lifting from its stream, fand orming rings around him. Then, as quickly as it had begun, the water dropped, and everything returned to normal. Lynx opened his eyes, scanning the area. "Well… I don't think we're going to find—" The ground shook violently.
A massive sinkhole opened beneath them. "What the—?!" Kris yelled, but before they could react, the earth swallowed them whole. They plummeted, sliding uncontrollably through dark tunnels. Their screams echoed as they picked up speed. Lynx reached out, trying to grab Kris and Hiro's hands, but the tunnels suddenly split, sending each of them down a different path. "KRIS! HIRO!" Lynx shouted, but the twisting tunnels drowned his voice. Faster and faster, Lynx hurtled toward a bright light. He braced for impact, shutting his eyes—and then, he hit the ground hard, rolling across stone until coming to a stop. His vision blurred, and a faint, shining light hovered in the distance before he lost consciousness.
Kris and Hiro, meanwhile, shot out of their tunnel at high speed. Hiro reacted quickly, grabbing Kris mid-air and using his energy to slow their fall, landing softly on a stone floor. "You good?" Hiro asked, releasing Kris. "Yeah… I think so," Kris muttered, dusting himself off. He glanced around warily. "Where the hell are we? And where's Lynx?" Hiro scanned their surroundings. Crumbling pillars, moss-covered walls, and ancient carvings filled the space. "Seems like we fell into some kind of ruin. Stay alert. We don't know what kind of creepy dangers are lurking around here…"
A voice echoed from the shadows. "'Creepy dangers'...? Now that's no way to greet someone." A figure stepped forward. She appeared young, with short white hair that shimmered in the dim light. Her attire was simple—a skirt and crop top seemingly woven from leaves. Her bright blue eyes gleamed with something unreadable. Brighter than the blue ocean. Both Kris and Hiro instinctively raised their weapons. The woman chuckled. "That's cute, but you won't be needing those." Her eyes shifted from deep blue to jade green. Her left eye burned with a green flame. With a flick of her hand, vines shot from the ground at lightning speed, seizing their weapons before they could react. She tossed the weapons deep into the ruins, out of sight. "You shouldn't have come here," she said coldly. "And I'm going to make sure you regret it."
Meanwhile, Lynx awoke in an impossible place. He was back in the royal castle. But it wasn't ruined—it was just as it had been years ago. And he was smaller. A child. "What the…" Lynx whispered, stepping toward a mirror. A young face stared back at him. His heart pounded. "Is this a memory?" A distant siren wailed. The door burst open. His mother and father rushed in, Onyx right beside them. "We have to get you two somewhere safe," his mother, Luna, said. "What's wrong?" Lynx asked, frightened. "No time," she whispered urgently. They were ushered into a vault beneath the castle. Before sealing the door, Luna and Asriel knelt before their sons. "Stay here. We'll handle this," Asriel said. The door shut, leaving Lynx and Onyx alone. Onyx immediately searched the room. "What are you doing?" Lynx asked. "Trying to see what's happening outside." He found a hidden control panel and activated a series of monitors. The screens showed their parents facing a catastrophic event—a massive meteor, burning with dark energy, plummeting toward their planet. "No…" Lynx whispered. Asriel then said to Luna "Seems like we have to hit it with everything we have Luna!!!". Luna then looks at her Husband and replies to him "Looks like it to me Asriel." They both smile at each other and get ready to attack. Both of them start to charge up their power. Asriel's energy wraps around him and starts to form a demonic beast. It starts to form a demonic Goat. His body gets larger and he creates a sword out of pure energy. As for Luna, she seems to be forming a demonic fox with nine tails. Her energy increases dramatically, she then says to Asriel "Let's finish this quickly…" Asriel nods and they both head towards the asteroid. They jump and seem to start to fly at super speeds. Asriel strikes the asteroid with his blade but nothing seems to be working. He notices this and charges up even more than before. But it is ineffective. As for Luna she charges toward the asteroid and punches it as hard as possible but not even that could affect the asteroid. She then thinks of something else she lands back to the ground and yells at Asriel to move out of the way and so he does. She then starts to chant a saying as she is charging up a beam. "By the power given to me I invoke the name Gaia Xenon… Give me the strength I request…" Her eyes start to glow blue and she yells out loud "OMMEN ECLIPSE 50 PERCENT!!!" A giant beam comes out of her hands and it heads straight to the meteor. The meteor seems to have stopped in place. Asriel notices this and yells at Luna "DON'T!!! YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MOVE WILL DO TO YOU IF YOU CHARGE IT UP TO 100 PERCENT!!!" Luna grunts and replies "But- What choice do we have… We have to protect our people. Asriel then charges up even more and his sword starts to become massive. As big as an asteroid. He yells out loud "DEMONIC BLADE!!!!" He throws the swords towards the asteroid. As this is happening Luna yells "OMMEN ECLIPSE 100 PERCENT!!!!" The beam gets bigger and both the sword and beam hit the asteroid.
A giant explosion happens in the air and both of them look up. Both Onyx and Lynx are shocked at how strong both of their parents are. The asteroid disappeared without a trace and Asriel then says to Luna "Looks like we did it…" Luna collapses to the ground. Asriel sees this and immediately catches her before she falls onto the ground. "Luna?.. Please… Wake up for me…" Luna's body goes limp and isn't responding. Asriel screams at the top of his lungs as he breaks down in tears from the amount of sadness and anger he's feeling. Both Lynx and Onyx see this and Lynx gets on his knees. He started to cry as he thought what he was seeing was impossible. Suddenly the demonic fox inside of him awakens within him.
Lynx woke abruptly, gasping for breath. He was back in the ruins. His body trembled. "What was that memory?" he whispered. A voice spoke from the shadows. "Well… you're awake. I don't know why you came here, but you'll regret it." Lynx looked up, his eyes flashing blue, ready to fight. The white-haired woman from before stood before him. "Who are you?" Lynx demanded. She smiled. "The name is Rhea Kawakami. I'm the Guardian of the Earth Elemento."
