Two days had passed since Jinx's long-awaited reunion with Doflamingo, and the atmosphere around Dressrosa had subtly shifted. It wasn't just the constant hum of tension that had dissipated; something more profound was happening—something that was both surprising and unsettling to those who had been watching from the sidelines.
The first noticeable change was Stussy's behavior. After spending more time with Jinx, it was clear that her once emotionless demeanor had begun to soften. It had started out as nothing more than subtle shifts—tiny changes in the way she looked at people, the small smiles that seemed to appear more often. But as the days wore on, the transformation became more pronounced. Stussy, who had once viewed emotions as alien concepts, was beginning to understand them in a way that went beyond mere intellectual curiosity.
Ace had noticed it first. He had always known Stussy as the cool, detached woman with a hidden agenda, but now there was a hint of genuine curiosity in her eyes. He couldn't quite explain it, but there was something more human about her now, something less like a machine and more like... a person.
"Jinx," Ace asked one evening as the two of them shared a drink. "What's with Stussy? She's different. She's... softening."
Jinx leaned back in his chair, his eyes flicking toward Stussy, who was standing nearby, her gaze drifting toward the horizon. There was a thoughtful pause before he replied, his tone quieter than usual.
"She doesn't understand human emotions," Jinx explained, his voice low. "She was made as a tool, an experiment—someone with no real concept of happiness or sadness. But I've been helping her. Slowly teaching her what it means to feel."
Ace raised an eyebrow. "And she wants to stick around and learn?"
Jinx's lips curved into a faint, almost amused smirk. "It's not just about learning. She's curious. She's starting to see that her life doesn't have to be about logic and control all the time. That emotions, messy as they are, can actually be... freeing."
The observation wasn't lost on Ace, who glanced over at Stussy. There was a certain warmth to her presence now, something that had never been there before.
As the days went by, it became increasingly clear that Jinx's influence on her had become something of a catalyst. Stussy's understanding of human emotions was growing, but so was her attachment to Jinx. He had been the first person to show her that emotions weren't something to fear—they were something to experience. And in turn, she found herself wanting to stay by his side, to witness firsthand the depth of human connection and all the complexities that came with it.
The transformation wasn't just limited to Stussy. Dressrosa itself, once a vibrant yet oppressive kingdom under Doflamingo's rule, was undergoing an almost immediate change. It all started with Jinx's infamous scolding of his older brother, Doflamingo.
The two of them had argued—loudly, in front of everyone—after Jinx observed the aura around the island. It had been thick with negativity, a palpable sense of dread and fear that hung over the people like a suffocating fog. Jinx had seen enough. He'd finally had enough.
"You have to change this, Doflamingo!" Jinx had snapped, his voice thunderous. "This place is crawling with negative energy. It's sickening! You're treating the people like playthings, and it's killing them—killing everything around you."
Doflamingo, taken aback by the intensity of Jinx's words, had stood frozen for a moment. But then, a sneer spread across his face as he prepared to retort.
"You always had a soft spot for the weak, little brother," Doflamingo muttered, his tone sharp. "What do you want me to do about it? They're my people—my subjects."
But Jinx wasn't backing down. His gaze was cold, his expression resolute. "Your people? They're not your toys, Doflamingo. You have no right to crush their spirits for your own amusement. You're destroying them with your cruelty. If you don't care about the people of Dressrosa, then at least care about your own kingdom!"
It wasn't the first time the brothers had clashed, but it was the first time Jinx had spoken so passionately about something so... human. His words hit Doflamingo harder than anything else had, and for the first time, Doflamingo felt the weight of his actions.
The change came quickly, and it wasn't long before Jinx's words began to manifest in reality. The workers who had once been captured by Doflamingo's crew and forced into servitude were released. It was a small gesture, but the effect it had on the people was monumental. They returned to their families, some of them without any memory of their time as toys, but with their spirits once again intact.
Jinx didn't stop there, though. He dragged Doflamingo—kicking and screaming—over to the Dwarven Kingdom. It was a place Doflamingo had once viewed as beneath him, but Jinx made sure he went. And when they arrived, Jinx wasted no time in forcing his older brother to apologize.
"What exactly are you expecting me to apologize for?" Doflamingo had demanded, his voice filled with resentment.
"The way you treated these people," Jinx had said simply, his tone unwavering. "You had no respect for them. They've suffered long enough under your rule. Now, you're going to make it right."
Doflamingo had balked at the idea, refusing at first, but after Jinx's relentless push, he had been forced to relent. The apology, though bitter, was delivered. But there was one condition: Doflamingo agreed to set up a home in the dungeon once Jinx had it open.
It was a promise that wasn't taken lightly. Doflamingo might have been the king of Dressrosa, but even he couldn't deny the power and influence Jinx wielded. There was something formidable about the idea of the dungeon, something that even Doflamingo couldn't fully comprehend, but he knew enough to understand that Jinx was serious.
There was one more condition that Jinx set, however. He requested that Mansherry, the daughter of the Dwarven King and wielder of the Heal Heal fruit, accompany them. The girl was a skilled healer, and her abilities could prove invaluable once the dungeon was up and running. Doflamingo, after much argument and grumbling, reluctantly agreed. But there was no denying the fact that Mansherry's presence would be an asset.
"She's not just going with you because of some favor, little brother," Doflamingo had muttered, but Jinx simply smirked.
"She'll be useful to everyone, including you," Jinx had replied, a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Trust me."
And so, with a reluctant promise from Doflamingo and a begrudging acceptance from Mansherry, the wheels of change began to turn. Dressrosa's dark past wasn't erased, but it was starting to shift. Slowly but surely, Jinx was making his mark on the kingdom. He wasn't just undoing the damage Doflamingo had caused; he was shaping the future of the island in a way that no one could have anticipated.
On the fifth day after breaking free from Impel Down, it was finally time for Jinx to leave and unlock the dungeon. He sat on the deck of the Moby Dick alongside Whitebeard, Ace, Jinbei, Marco, Vista, Jozu, and Doflamingo. Also present were Doflamingo's two elite officers, Trebol and Diamante. Seated beside Jinx was Stussy, who would be accompanying him on this journey.
Jinx turned to Ace and asked, "Do you have the Eternal Log Pose?"
Ace nodded, holding up a sleek, all-black Eternal Pose with the word Dungeon inscribed on it.
Satisfied, Jinx retrieved a pitch-black crystal from his pocket. "See you soon," he said, offering a final glance at everyone. Then, without hesitation, he crushed the crystal. In an instant, both he and Stussy vanished.
(Timeskip)
When Jinx and Stussy opened their eyes, they were met with an unexpected sight—a seemingly ordinary tavern. The normalcy of the scene puzzled them, but they remained cautious, refusing to be deceived by appearances. As they approached the double doors, Stussy reached out to open them but recoiled with a sharp gasp, her hand now smoking from some unseen force.
Jinx narrowed his eyes, hesitating for a moment. If the doors had repelled Stussy, would they do the same to him? After a moment's thought, he placed his hands against the doors. To his surprise, no shock came. With that reassurance, he pushed the doors open.
Inside, the tavern's interior appeared just as typical as its exterior—wooden tables, a stocked bar, and dim lanterns casting a warm glow. But one thing immediately captured their attention—a massive, imposing door at the far end of the room.
Jinx approached it, curiosity driving him forward. The moment his fingers brushed against its surface, a translucent screen materialized before him:

Jinx's eyes widened as he read the list of invitees, confusion creeping in. Mihawk, Boa, and Shanks? I never called them...
Then, realization struck. Wait… Rayleigh is close with both groups. He must have invited them.
A smirk played on his lips. "Hmm… having Rayleigh here could be interesting."
As soon as the words left his mouth, a portal shimmered into existence beside him. A moment later, Silvers Rayleigh tumbled out, landing with a grunt before the portal sealed shut behind him.
Jinx grinned. Now this is where things get interesting.
Rayleigh landed with a slight stumble but quickly regained his footing, brushing off his coat with a chuckle. His sharp eyes scanned the tavern before settling on Jinx.
"Well, that was unexpected," Rayleigh mused, adjusting his glasses. "I assume you're the one responsible for summoning me?"
Jinx crossed his arms. "More or less. Looks like you had a hand in inviting some extra guests."
Rayleigh grinned. "Can't have a proper adventure without a few wild cards."
Jinx let out a low chuckle before turning back to the giant door. The notification screen had disappeared, leaving only the imposing structure before them.
"Alright," Jinx said, placing his palm against the cold surface of the door. "Time to see what's inside."
The moment he pushed, the ground beneath them trembled. The entire tavern seemed to shift, the walls rippling like a mirage. The door creaked open, revealing a swirling black void beyond. A rush of energy surged out, thick with mystery and power.
Stussy narrowed her eyes. "Feels like a test. Whatever's beyond this door… it's not going to be ordinary."
Jinx smirked. "Good. Ordinary is boring."
Without hesitation, he stepped forward, vanishing into the abyss. Stussy and Rayleigh exchanged a glance before following him inside.
(Inside the Dungeon)
Jinx blinked as his vision adjusted to his new surroundings. Instead of the vast, enclosed chamber he expected, he found himself standing atop a grassy hill, the wind rustling through his coat. The sky above was a twilight shade of purple and gold, an eerie yet mesmerizing sight.
His gaze shifted downward, taking in the landscape below. About two miles away, a large village sprawled across the land, its streets illuminated by lanterns, and its buildings constructed from a mix of ancient stone and wood. The village seemed well-kept, lively even, but something about it felt… off. It was too quiet for a place that appeared inhabited.
Jinx furrowed his brows. A village inside a dungeon? That wasn't what he expected. He turned back toward the portal, ready to discuss the situation with Rayleigh and Stussy—only to realize that Rayleigh wasn't there.
A frown crossed his face. "The hell? Where is he?"
Without hesitation, Jinx stepped back through the portal.
(Outside the Dungeon – The Tavern)
The moment he reappeared in the tavern, Jinx was met with a chaotic scene. Tables lay shattered across the wooden floor, chairs upturned, and in the middle of the mess was none other than Silvers Rayleigh, sitting amidst the wreckage. Stussy was beside him, helping him to his feet with an exasperated sigh.
Jinx raised an eyebrow. "What the hell happened here?"
Rayleigh dusted off his coat and chuckled. "Seems like your dungeon didn't want me inside."
Before Jinx could question him further, a new translucent screen popped up before his eyes.
System Notification:
Individuals without an Adventure Card are unable to enter the Dungeon.
Jinx narrowed his eyes. "Adventure Card?" He glanced at Stussy, who had passed through without issue. "You didn't have any problems getting in?"
Stussy shook her head. "No, but now that I think about it… I did receive something when I first arrived." She opened her hand, and a glowing, black card with intricate golden markings appeared in her palm.
Jinx looked back at Rayleigh. "Guess you didn't get one."
Rayleigh smirked. "Seems not."
Jinx ran a hand through his hair, thinking. If only those with Adventure Cards could enter, then that meant he needed to find a way to issue them. He brought up the system screen again, searching for an option to grant Rayleigh a card.
"Let's see… if this Dungeon is mine, then there has to be a way to override this restriction." His fingers swiped through the menus until he found a new option.
Would you like to grant 'Silvers Rayleigh' an Adventure Card?
(Yes) (No)
Jinx smirked and tapped Yes.
A flash of golden light surged around Rayleigh, and within seconds, a similar black and gold card appeared in his hand. He studied it with interest.
"Well, that's convenient," Rayleigh said, flipping the card between his fingers. "Guess I can enter now."
Jinx grinned. "No more breaking tables, old man."
With that, they stepped back into the Dungeon, this time with all three of them making it through.
Jinx carefully examined the Adventure Cards, his dark purple eyes scanning the detailed information displayed before him. The stats, abilities, and equipment of both Rayleigh and Stussy were impressive, reinforcing the fact that he was surrounded by formidable allies.
Before he could comment, a piece of parchment materialized in front of him, floating gently before beginning to descend. Instinctively, Jinx reached out and grabbed it before it could touch the ground.
As soon as his fingers made contact, glowing text began to appear on the parchment, as if responding to his very thoughts. The message was clear—it was asking him to define the rules of the Dungeon.
Jinx exhaled slowly, his mind racing. This place is mine… my domain. I need to make sure it runs the way I want.
Closing his eyes, he concentrated, formulating the foundation of the Dungeon's mechanics. The parchment pulsed with energy, and one by one, the rules he envisioned materialized onto its surface:

Jinx narrowed his eyes slightly as he analyzed the cards. Their stats and abilities were formidable, but something about their power scaling within the Dungeon intrigued him. So this system is classifying abilities with rankings… interesting.
Before he could comment, a piece of parchment suddenly materialized in front of him, gently floating downward. Jinx instinctively reached out and caught it.
The moment his fingers made contact, glowing words etched themselves onto the paper, forming an inscription that pulsed with arcane energy. He could feel it—it was a command from the Dungeon itself, prompting him to define its laws.
Jinx exhaled deeply, his mind processing the situation. If he was truly the master of this Dungeon, then it needed structure. Order. A system that would regulate the dangers within and ensure only the strongest would thrive.
Closing his eyes for a moment, he allowed his thoughts to solidify. The parchment shimmered in response, its surface lighting up as the rules of the Dungeon began to write themselves—each word a manifestation of his will.

Jinx watched as the final rule was inscribed onto the parchment, the text glowing ominously before the entire paper vanished in a burst of light, absorbed into the very core of the Dungeon itself.
A new notification screen immediately popped up in front of him:
Dungeon Rules Established.
The foundation of the Dungeon has been set. All adventurers who enter will now be bound by these laws.
Jinx smirked. This was his domain now.
Turning back to Rayleigh and Stussy, he flipped their Adventure Cards back to them. "Looks like we're playing by a new set of rules now."
Rayleigh chuckled, examining his card. "You sure know how to make things interesting, kid."
Stussy sighed, cracking her fingers. "So, what's next?"
Jinx grinned. "Simple." His dark purple eyes gleamed with excitement.
"We conquer the Dungeon."
