Finix is the eldest son of a farmer that lives near a quiet hamlet called Cottonroad.
His life was calm and peaceful, albeit a bit dull. But he was happy with his family and friends. He's quite content with this life.
Living a mundane life as a farmer wasn't bad for Finix.
Unfortunately, fate has other plans for the red-haired boy.

I can't say much from the first chapter, but considering how the author is writing and what is already being expressed, they seem to have a nice idea of how to continue the story. It seems to be fairly solid and planned. The characters are handled very nicely, where they don't clash too much/at all and feel quite genuine, though there is the concern that there may be too many characters right off the bat. The prose could definitely be improved upon (though that's probably because English isn't a first language) but the storytelling flows fairly cleanly. There is nothing to be said about the background; there has been nothing introduced regarding the background of the world. I cannot say anything regarding updates. From the first chapter, I give this a 3.5 star, with expectations of at least a 4 star book
