As Maddy stormed into the room, her eyes filled with anger, fixed intently on Astrid.
"How dare you be so disrespectful to the President's son?" she spat, ignoring Astrid's greetings.
Astrid smiled serenely, her expression unruffled. "The last time I checked, I was just making something clear," she replied, her voice calm and collected.
Maddy's face twisted with rage. "You were rude, lady, Completely rude."
Astrid shrugged, her shoulders barely rising off the chair. "I will agree with whatever you say, Miss Simpsons."
Maddy's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing. "Why is your title still Mrs. Logan when you are already divorced from Julian?" she asked, again the question that had been bothering her since she heard her title was still Mrs.
Astrid's expression remained serene, but a hint of annoyance crept into her voice. "That's my family's problem. I don't wish to share that burden with you."
