Julian's eyes widened in alarm as he watched Astrid storm off, tears streaming down her face.
He took off after her, calling out her name, not caring about the look he was getting from his employees but she didn't respond.
Instead, she quickened her pace finding her way to the car as she wiped her tears trickling down her face angrily, her eyes shimmering with hurt and betrayal.
As he caught up to her, he saw that she was heading towards her car, her keys already in hand.
He grabbed her arm, spinning her around to face him. "Astrid, where are you going?" he demanded, his voice low and urgent.
Astrid snatched her arm out of his grasp, she didn't say a word, just tried to open the car door, but Julian slammed it shut, trapping her.
"Talk to me," he pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion. "You can't just walk away like this. We need to communicate, Astrid. We can't just let little misunderstandings tear us apart."
