HE IS MAD AT HER

The car finally came to a halt in front of the house and Julsin alighted from the car, he noticed Astrid wasn't getting down herself so he helped her do so.

She smiled, taking his arms, and slighted but the moment he shut the door he yanked his hands from her storming inside.

"Julian!" Astrid called as she also hurried into the house, her feet pounding against the floor as she struggled to keep up with Julian's swift pace.

"Hey, you don't have to be mad at me," she called out, her breathless voice echoing through the hallway. "It was the only choice I had to make."

Julian didn't slow down or respond. Instead, he stormed ahead, his long strides consuming the distance.

"Julian! Slow down!" She called after him but all she got was silence from him.

As they entered the foyer, Julian snapped his fingers, and the guards stationed around the room sprang to attention.
