Beehive Island, Inside Skull Castle.
Bullet lounged carelessly on the sofa, sipping wine while a beautiful pirate attended to him.
"Boss Bullet, it looks like you're about to become the ruler of Beehive Island and the captain of the Dragon Pirates," the pirate said.
"Yeah," Bullet replied, his voice filled with confidence. "Even the big shots of the underworld, like the Golden Emperor Tesoro, are locked up in a cell now. I doubt there's anyone left who can stop us."
As the others around him showered him with compliments, Bullet casually grabbed a thick stack of Beli and tossed it toward them—easily worth tens of millions. Watching them scramble to collect the money, he couldn't help but laugh out loud.
After the attack on Gran Tesoro, the world's largest entertainment city, the attitudes of everyone around him had noticeably changed. They were more respectful, more eager to please.
To the pirates around him, 120 billion Beli was a fortune. Just by praising Bullet and making sure he was comfortable, they could get rewarded generously. It was far better than risking their necks out at sea for plunder.
Compared to treasure, pirates like Evil King and Big Barrel—the hardened prisoners from the sixth level of Impel Down—valued Bullet's raw power much more. They knew, perhaps better than anyone, just how crucial strength was.
Even Tesoro, a powerful man with an awakened Devil Fruit, was beaten down by Bullet like a dog. Despite their rebellious nature, none of these notorious pirates dared to voice any complaints.
Suddenly, Avalo Pizarro, known as the Evil King, called out from the hall. His voice echoed from all directions, a result of his Paramecia Island Fruit ability, which allowed him to merge with the island itself.
"Boss, Kaido's fleet is docking," Pizarro informed them.
Hearing this, Bullet put down his wine glass. "So, he's back? Just a day later than us… Not bad for Kaido," Bullet remarked, though he didn't seem too impressed.
Despite his words, he paid little attention to Kaido's timing. Bullet had already achieved more: they returned sooner, earned an extra 20 billion Beli, and captured Tezoro. By all measures, Bullet was winning this competition.
"But maybe not," Pizarro added, his tone suddenly smug. "Their ships look badly damaged, even the masts are broken. Rather than a successful return, it looks like they suffered a major defeat."
The hall fell silent.
"Kaido... defeated?" Bullet frowned, not fully believing what he heard. He knew how strong Kaido was, and Kaido even had Aokiji, a former Marine Admiral, at his side. Who could have inflicted such a loss on them?
But Pizarro's tone changed again, growing serious. "No, it's worse. They're followed by six Marine warships!"
Bullet shot up from the sofa, cursing loudly. "What?! Marines?! Did that bastard Kaido lead them here?! Damn it, what a fool!"
Enraged, he continued, "Gather everyone and come with me to the port!"
Beehive Island, Port.
Kaido's fleet, battered and in disarray, slowly docked alongside six imposing Marine warships.
Suddenly, a system message rang out in a mechanical voice:
Ding! Host's faction (World Government) has lost significant assets.

Rewards being distributed...
Congratulations! Host has received [Deathwing (Fallen Form)] bloodline enhancement!
Would you like to receive it now?
The moment Kaido arrived at the port, a solemn system prompt echoed in both his real body and his clone's mind.
Although he wasn't entirely sure what "Deathwing" referred to, his main body already possessed the Kryptonian bloodline. With two S-class bloodlines combined, Carlos wasn't sure if there would be any conflict between them, so he decided to let his clone receive the new power.
After a brief moment of thought, Carlos made his decision: the clone would take the reward.
Instantly, Kaido's body trembled.
An incredibly domineering energy surged within him, coming out of nowhere. Its intensity was enough to shock even Kaido.
Before he could react, the energy rushed throughout his body—into every limb, every bone, and every cell. His skin began to crack open as his arms turned a deep, dark red. They started swelling, growing irregularly and becoming grotesque, their appearance downright terrifying.
"If the Kryptonian bloodline is a gradual, growth-based power, then this Deathwing bloodline is a raw, brutal transformation," Carlos thought, his expression growing serious.
The transformation was overwhelming, and if it continued at this rate, Carlos wasn't sure how much further his body could go.
Despite his concerns, the strengthening process pressed on.
His body emitted a sickening grinding sound, like bones being forcibly reshaped. His muscles stretched and deformed as bones twisted, broke, and then reformed. Magma and flames erupted from within his body, surging outward violently.
The pain was unbearable.
Kaido furrowed his brow as cold sweat dripped from his forehead. Desperately, he activated Armament Haki, wrapping it around his body to shield himself.
At the same time, the Devil Fruit within him sensed the immense external threat. To protect him from total destruction, it instinctively pushed Kaido into his dragon form.
Meanwhile, the bloodline factors buried deep within his body also began resisting the external force. But the battle wasn't just physical. Mentally, Kaido was under unimaginable pressure.
A violent consciousness forced its way into his mind. His veins bulged as though they were on the verge of bursting. His expression twisted into one of madness, and it seemed like he had completely lost control.
An absurd thought suddenly filled his mind—destroy the world.
The terrifying transformation did not go unnoticed. Pirates around him cast worried glances in his direction, unsure of what was happening.
But then, in the next moment, a roar that sounded like a volcanic eruption exploded in their minds.
For a split second, their minds went blank.
It was as though everything around them ceased to exist. They felt like tiny ants facing a colossal monster from the deepest, darkest abyss.
An indescribable and overwhelming pressure fell upon them all, filling their hearts with pure, boundless fear. Their bodies trembled involuntarily as if their souls were being ripped apart. Every cell in their bodies screamed in terror.
Aokiji's expression shifted drastically. Unable to stop himself, he stepped back a few paces.
"What... what is this terrifying presence?" he muttered, his voice shaky. He couldn't find the words to describe what he was feeling.
It was brutal, evil, and completely inhuman. For a moment, Aokiji even questioned whether Carlos had transformed into something beyond human comprehension.
