Chapter 108 Carlos, Do You Want To Become A Celestial Dragons?

Faced with Momousagi's doubts, Carlos didn't want to elaborate and simply said:

"It's a bit difficult to explain."

"Anyway, Uta must be brought back. And, while you're at it, find a musical score named Tot Musica and destroy it. King Gordon of Elegia will assist you."

Momousagi nodded and glanced at the document in her hand, her expression turning a bit strange.

"This mission isn't hard. However, Sky Island… Shandora, the golden city that existed 800 years ago?"

Akainu shook his head, interjecting:

"Shandora? That ancient city that was wiped out 800 years ago? Are you trying to solve our financial problem with this? Isn't that just a legend?"

The others in the room looked equally surprised.

Carlos didn't bother to explain further.

"You'll understand when you reach Magic Valley Town. The method to get to Sky Island is detailed in the document."

"But, I have to warn you. While there's immense treasure in gold, there's also someone who claims to be a god. He's a Logia user with the Thunder Fruit, a dangerous ability you shouldn't underestimate."

Momousagi smiled confidently.

"A Logia user, like Akainu and the others? Sounds tricky, but manageable."

"Don't worry. The Marines from the Inspectorate aren't pushovers. We'll complete the mission."

When not on duty, Momousagi spent time in the Tenfold Training Room, constantly engaged in sword duels with Hawkeye.

Additionally, she had consumed Vegapunk's artificial Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit—Fish Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon. During this period, her strength had increased rapidly, so she had little to fear.

Carlos nodded and added:

"Also, don't forget that on Sky Island, there's a stone tablet that records the history of the Ancient Weapon 'Poseidon.'"

"And, bring back the Poneglyph from Alabasta."

"If you run into anyone from the Nefertari royal family or Crocodile, ignore them. If necessary, use force."

He wasn't sure of Crocodile's current location.

Crocodile might be in the New World, preparing to challenge Whitebeard, or perhaps on his way to Alabasta, scheming to steal an Ancient Weapon.

This guy's strength is puzzling—he can go toe-to-toe with someone like Bullet, yet be defeated by a rookie like Luffy.

But regardless, the first half of the Grand Line is under Marine control.

If anyone dares to interfere with his plans, he'd just send in troops to crush them.

What intrigued Carlos more was history's hidden truths.

Due to the Ohara Incident, to avoid unnecessary trouble, he had placed Robin in a secluded manor. During this time, they had numerous in-depth discussions and formed some cooperative ties.

Carlos didn't particularly care about what transpired in the Void Century. To him, it was likely just some scandals involving the World Government and the Celestial Dragons.

More importantly, he was focused on gathering information about the three legendary Ancient Weapons: Uranus, Pluton, and Poseidon.

The location of Pluton was already known to him.

Once the New World stabilized, he planned to take Robin to Wano Country personally.

After a moment of reflection, Carlos looked up at Akainu, Fujitora, and the others.

"Alright, here are your assignments."

"The three of you will each lead three Vice Admirals, twenty warships, and ten thousand Marine soldiers."

"Aramaki, you're responsible for the Devil's Triangle and Calm Belt near Amazon Lily. As for Fish-Man Island, that's your responsibility, Sakazuki."

Akainu frowned slightly and said in a serious tone:

"These are all territories of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. The Marines are deploying a large force. We're clearly not just here to chat. Could it be that you intend to…"

Carlos smiled.

"You guessed correctly. I plan to abolish the Seven Warlords of the Sea."

"If they agree to disband their forces and surrender, things will go smoothly. But if they choose to resist, we'll act without hesitation."

Fish-Man Island is currently under Whitebeard's protection and serves as one of the gateways to the New World. Controlling it would prevent New World pirates from returning to the first half of the Grand Line.

The island's strategic importance is obvious—it must fall under Marine control.

But more crucial is Princess Shirahoshi.

She possesses the rare ability to control the giant Sea Kings and is likely an Ancient Weapon known as "Poseidon."

Because of this, Fish-Man Island is a priority. Carlos wasn't concerned with the ongoing tensions between fish-men and humans. If Jinbei, Neptune, and the Sun Pirates refused to comply, they would be destroyed.

As for the pirate queen, Boa Hancock of Amazon Lily—Carlos wasn't interested in her beauty.

The conflicts between their factions were unavoidable. If the World Government ever turned against him in the future, she might prove to be a useful ally.

Gekko Moria? There was little to say. He might have been formidable in the past, but now he was just a shadow of his former self. Hardly worth mentioning.

At some point, the office grew silent.

Akainu, Fujitora, and Green Bull rose from their seats.

Akainu took a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking:

"They may be called the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but in reality, they're just pirates with legal rights to plunder. The first half of the Grand Line is already under Marine control."

"For us, they are an unstable element. I agree with your approach."

He then paused, adding, "But the World Government will never approve of this."

Carlos chuckled darkly.

Aside from Bartholomew Kuma, Hawkeye, and Doflamingo, the remaining Warlords are Jinbei, Moria, Boa Hancock, and Crocodile.

Individually, none of them possess overwhelming power, but they're still nuisances that can't be ignored.

Carlos despised anything he couldn't control. They would either submit or be destroyed.

As everyone seemed on the verge of further comments, Carlos waved his hand dismissively.

"In a few days, I'll make an official announcement through Morgans, to inform the world."

"As for the World Government? Let them say whatever they like."

"Last time Saturn came to Marineford, I gave him enough respect."

The room was filled with an awkward silence, as no one seemed sure of what to say next.

Suddenly, the phone on Carlos' desk rang.

Carlos frowned slightly, approaching the transponder snail.

A familiar voice came from the other end.

"I am Saturn."

A sneer crossed Carlos' face as he replied slowly:

"How could I not recognize your voice? Tell me, what advice do the esteemed Five Elders have for me this time?"

There was a brief pause on the line. Just as Carlos began to grow impatient, the voice resumed:

"After careful deliberation, we've reached a unanimous decision."

"Marine Marshal Carlos, you are now qualified to become a Celestial Dragon and join us as one of our own."
