"Come in," Tsunade called out once again, curiosity lacing her voice as she wondered who else would be knocking at this hour. The day had already taken several unexpected turns.
The door creaked open slowly, revealing Sasuke standing on the other side.
"It's getting crowded in here," Shizune thought, her eyes flicking uneasily between the Hokage, Danzo, and now Sasuke.
"Sasuke, what's wrong?" Tsunade asked, a trace of concern in her voice.
Sasuke's gaze didn't linger on the Hokage. Instead, he fixed his dark eyes on Goro, his expression unreadable. "I'm just here to confirm something," he said quietly.
Tsunade leaned back slightly, her eyes narrowing. "And what did you want to confirm?"
Before Sasuke could respond, Goro stepped forward and cut into the conversation. "I'll be confirming what he wants to know."
All eyes turned to Goro as he spoke. Danzo's mouth twitched in annoyance as a thought crossed his mind. "This is becoming a clown circus."
Tsunade, too, was growing weary of the day's constant disruptions. "Today has been an unusual day," she mused, watching Goro.
"I had more to say, remember?" Goro reminded. "Now, I will be exposing Danzo's crimes against the village."
Danzo's brow furrowed, his patience wearing thin. "This little pest won't let me be." He glanced at the Hokage, hoping she would put an end to this nonsense.
"Hold on, Goro," Tsunade interjected, her voice firm. "You've been making accusations all day. I even made time for you, but I feel you're now disrespecting everyone's time."
Goro glanced at her, a cocky smirk tugging at his lips. 'I'm going to drop a bomb of information on them. They have no clue what's about to happen. The most oblivious is Danzo.'
"What I said before was a cover to buy time and a ploy to play with Danzo's sense of security," Goro confessed. "What I'm really here to talk about is the night of the Uchiha massacre."
Tsunade's and Shizune's eyes widened, their jaws dropping slightly at the mention of that fateful night. It was a chapter of Konoha's history that they rarely dared to open.
Sasuke's face, in contrast, remained stoic, his gaze locked on Goro, waiting for him to prove his claims.
Danzo's brow furrowed deeper, suspicion darkening his gaze. "This boy… What does he want to say about that night? He's clearly talking about my connection to it, but why?"
Goro glanced at Danzo, his expression shifting into one of mock innocence. "It looks really suspicious if you just stand by the door like that. Care to go back to the center of the room?"
Danzo grit his teeth, irritation seeping into his voice as he responded, "You don't have the proper authority to be giving demands."
Tsunade's gaze sharpened, and she intervened before the situation could escalate further. "Danzo, please stand at the center of the room."
Danzo clenched his fists, but a silent warning from the hidden Anbu stationed in the room forced him to relax his hands.
Swallowing his pride, Danzo walked to the center of the room, feeling the burden of humiliation with every step. He kept his gaze straight, refusing to let his growing unease show.
Tsunade, watching him carefully, thought, "The Uchiha massacre…"
Goro's gaze followed Danzo's every move. He cleared his throat and continued with a voice that commanded attention. "Danzo was the main instigator of the massacre. He was the one who gave the order for the young Itachi Uchiha to kill his clan. I am not saying Itachi was innocent, but what I'm saying is that he wasn't the only conspirator."
'I don't need to give out the full truth. What happens between Sasuke and his brother has nothing to do with me. I'm just here to humiliate Danzo.'
Sasuke bit his lip, his hands balling into fists at his sides. "Goro. You say my brother's foul name and talk a lot about my clan. You better be right."
Danzo's eyes widened for the briefest of moments before narrowing again. "How does he know this?! Itachi? Did you spill my secrets?!" Panic surged through him, but he quickly pushed it down. "No… Itachi wouldn't say anything in fear for his brother Sasuke. He's just managed to make a good guess, nothing more."
Goro took a few steps forward, closing the distance between him and Danzo. "Danzo used the Uchiha as scapegoats to direct the village's anger. He blamed them for the Nine-Tails attack and had them discriminated against."
Each word fell like a hammer blow on Danzo's resolve. He could feel his legs weaken. Everything he had ever built was collapsing right in front of him. He was being humiliated by none other than a 13-year-old child. "B-but how…?!" he thought, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead.
Goro stepped beside Danzo, close enough to feel the heat radiating off the man's trembling body. "It's unsettling to watch you squirm, Danzo. What's the matter?" Goro asked, his voice a mocking whisper.
Tsunade, observing the two, could tell something was off. Danzo wasn't his usual collected self. There was a hint of desperation in his stance that hadn't been there before.
Realizing he was letting Goro get to him, Danzo composed himself, straightening his posture. "He has no evidence. I just have to get out of here and I'll have him killed on the next mission he goes on. You've made a mistake, boy. You chose to bite too high up the ladder instead of playing dumb and working your way up."
"Goro, what you've said is incredibly serious, you—" Tsunade began, her voice low and stern, but before she could finish, Danzo looked at Goro with a sinister gleam in his eye.
"And your proof of this?" Danzo challenged, his voice hard.
Sasuke's eyes flicked to Goro, his thoughts mirroring Danzo's. "He still hasn't shown proof…"
Danzo's confidence seemed to return as he straightened further, his smirk reappearing. "Where is your—"
Before he could finish his sentence, Goro flickered to Danzo's right side, the sudden movement almost too fast for anyone to register. In one swift motion, Goro swung his kunai down, severing Danzo's right arm clean off.
The severed limb hit the ground with a sickening thud, blood spraying across the floor. Before any of the Anbu or Danzo could react, Goro's body crackled with energy as he activated his Storm Chakra Mode.
In an instant, Goro's hand shot up, and he pressed his palm against Danzo's face, marking it with a seal. The Anbu leapt forward to restrain Goro, their blades flashing, but they were stopped short. Their weapons were caught within the chakra surrounding Goro, unable to pierce through.
Sasuke's eyes widened, the sight before him almost too surreal to comprehend. "What is he doing?! And he—he's stopping the Anbu?!" he thought, the disbelief evident on his face.
Tsunade stood abruptly, her hand slamming against the desk. Shizune took on a defensive stance, her chakra flaring.
"What's that chakra around him?" Tsunade pondered, struggling to grasp what she was witnessing.
A total of six weapons were stuck in Goro's chakra, unable to escape its grasp. Danzo's body dropped to the ground, limp and unmoving.
Goro released the Anbu from his chakra grip, repelling them and making them stagger back. Calmly, he walked over to Danzo's severed arm, crouching down, intending to unwrap it.
"Don't move!" Shizune shouted, her voice sharp and authoritative.
Goro ignored her warning, unwrapping the bandages from the fallen limb. As the layers of fabric unraveled, gasps echoed from the Anbu who had just regained their balance.
"The proof of his guilt is here, Lady Tsunade," Goro announced, lifting the arm up and putting it on display.
Sasuke stood frozen, his gaze fixed on the grotesque sight before him. He felt his stomach churn, bile rising up. Before he could stop himself, he bent over, vomiting onto the ground.
The Anbu in the room were equally stunned, dropping their weapons in shock. A total of ten Sharingan eyes were embedded into the flesh of Danzo's right arm.
Goro looked up, meeting Tsunade's horrified gaze. "What sort of sick man would do this? And that's not all," he added, his tone calm. "He also has Shisui Uchiha's eye, where his right eye is bandaged."
The room fell silent as all eyes turned to Danzo, who was limp on the ground. "It seems the Brain Death Seal is working." Goro thought, looking down at Danzo. "Now, for his death."
