chapter 1: A Criminal case

In the dead of the night in XX city, a police siren could be heard from a distance. A woman sat up in her room, and glanced lightly at her sleeping husband. His light snores resonated through the room, and her body shook slightly at the thought of her husband's crime.

He had killed a certain person, and he wouldn't say the truth no matter how many times he was asked to speak the truth. The thought of her husband being snatched away from her sounded so dreadful and humiliating. All the people who were aware of the murder, and unaware of the culprit will turn her to a laughing stock. She immediately phoned the police.

"A Murder case has occurred," she said immediately she heard the call being answered.

"Okay, let's be calm, where did it happen?" A deep dark voice answered from the other end.

She gave the address of their home to the policeman as she figured out he was one. The policeman told her not to touch anything, and after a few minutes later a black and white car arrived with detective Larry in it. He gave her water and made her calm before asking her any question, he began

"Although; your husband is a very notorious criminal which he will still face his punishment by hanging him publicly, but he still needs justice"

"I am aware of that detective"

"So could you give a brief summarization of what happened from when he woke up this morning"

She sighed and began "he woke up healthy with my four children and we were busy talking about how my eldest son would take over his business after he had turned himself in, he told us we were late so I should escort the children to the door, after I bided them goodbye, I got back to our room to see him on the floor lifelessly"

"Excuse me mam" Larry interrupted

"Yes detective"

"Has your husband mentioned anything or anybody that makes him sick"

"Yes, he has" she replied hesitantly

"You don't have to be scared okay, could you remember anything he said about that person"

She thought, but it seems she couldn't remember "I just can't remember" she cried

"Okay, do your children have any bad record coming from school"

"No sir"

"Okay, that's all for today we would get back to you soon" the police and detective Larry stood up and the other detectives and police that went for inspection of the body also came downstairs.

"Stay strong" all of them encouraged her

After they all left "Boom" the woman was also shot dead
