Azrael’s gaze burned into Elysia, his lips curving into a wicked smile as he closed the distance between them. His fingers, firm but teasing, gripped her waist, pulling her against his body. 

“Do you know what happens to those who defy me, little pet?” His voice was low, dripping with dark amusement. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above hers, close enough for her to feel his breath but not close enough to touch. 

“They beg.”Elysia’s pulse quickened, her breath catching as her body betrayed the fear melting into something far more dangerous. Her lips parted, but no words came out. "You're mine, Elysia, I will burn the world for you." She heard him say in a low growl, making her legs tremble more.

The Dragon King's Pet

Elysia lay on the bed, waiting patiently as the physician finished stitching up another patient before attending to her. Only a few minutes had passed when he finally approached her cot, a small but tired smile stretching across his weary face.

She attempted to return the gesture, though her exhaustion made it faint. The physician gently took her wrist, checking her pulse, before shining a small light into her eyes.

"Are you experiencing pain anywhere? I noticed bloodstains on your cheek," he said, his voice calm yet concerned, as he examined her nose for any sign of injury.

"I am not feeling any pain, just extremely tired. Yes, I had a nosebleed, but it's stopped now," Elysia replied softly, her voice calm yet weary.
