"Thank you, Renata. I truly appreciate your presence here," Azrael replied with a soft smile before shifting his gaze back to Callum. "I wish you both the very best. I would love to continue our conversation, but I have other guests to attend to. Please, enjoy the ball." With that, Azrael walked away, Elysia by his side.

"It was nice to see them again. I'm glad Renata has finally moved on from her affection for you," Elysia whispered, keeping her voice low.

Azrael let out a small chuckle. "I hope she truly has because, if not, it's her loss. I have no interest in her, never did, never will," he assured, glancing at Elysia, who rolled her eyes in response.

"I know that, Azrael," Elysia said, playfully hitting his chest, making him chuckle.

"Very well, my love," Azrael sighed. "But I must admit, I'm growing bored of seeing all these familiar faces. Perhaps we should retire to our chambers?"
