And the most critical point of Larson's Susanoo is that it is immune to any non-physical attacks.

In other words, if you want to defeat Larson's Susanoo, you can only use physical attacks.

However, whether it is Sengoku or Sakazuki, their most outstanding abilities derive from their Devil Fruits. It can even be said that the Sixth Form of the Navy and their Haki have only reached a normal naval level.

Under such conditions, attempting to defeat Larson's Susanoo is undeniably a fantasy.

What's more, they still didn't know that Susanoo could resist non-physical attacks.

If it weren't for the significant drain on his own physical strength to maintain this ability, Larson wouldn't need to do anything else. He could simply stand still, and Sengoku and Sakazuki would be helpless against him.

In fact, this was accurately the case. By the fifth minute of the battle, Sengoku and Sakazuki became increasingly alarmed as they fought.

Panting, Sengoku glanced at Larson, who remained unharmed in the distance, and couldn't help but curse inwardly. Garp had warned him that this thing was extremely tough, but how tough could it really be? It was nothing less than invincible!

However, Larson did not give them any time to rest. With his current physical strength, Susanoo could only last for ten minutes at most, so this battle had to be finished quickly.

As Susanoo charged toward him like a god of war, Sengoku and Sakazuki both felt shivers run down their spines.

"How about we withdraw?" Sakazuki suggested.

For someone like him, who held extreme justice in his heart, to utter the words "retreat" indicated the depth of his despair at that moment.

Sengoku felt incredibly aggrieved at Sakazuki's suggestion. He wanted to retreat, but where could they go now?

Garp and Zephyr had only managed to fend off Whitebeard when they joined forces. They couldn't even consider helping Sengoku and Sakazuki; they might be seriously injured themselves by Whitebeard if they diverted their focus.

Zephyr and Garp faced significant challenges as well. If they had really combined their strength to confront Whitebeard, they wouldn't be in such a dire state.

The truth was that Whitebeard employed deceptive tactics. Whenever Garp and Zephyr planned to attack from the left or right, he would layer his naginata with the power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit and direct it toward the Navy ship where Tsuru was.

Garp and Zephyr were becoming fatigued. To prevent the Navy warship from being destroyed by Whitebeard, they had no choice but to absorb Whitebeard's attacks every single time. Otherwise, with their ship damaged, they would be stranded at sea.

As time passed, Whitebeard had barely made any moves after fighting so far. Instead, they had been worn down both physically and mentally by his relentless style.

Could Sengoku and Sakazuki really retreat now and allow Tsuru to face Larson?

"Hold on a little longer!" Sengoku gritted his teeth and urged.

Sakazuki was nearly numb at this point. How could they possibly persist right now?

He had already used every technique available against Larson. With Larson remaining unscathed, was there any point in continuing to fight?

But what would happen if they didn't persist?

Sengoku insisted there was truly no other way; they had no choice but to grit their teeth and endure.

What began as a Navy operation against pirates had transformed into a relentless torture inflicted by pirates upon the Navy. Who could explain this?

What were they even doing here?

Why were they facing such torment with no resolution?

This was the most accurate reflection of Sakazuki's mindset at that moment.

Only when facing Larson's Susanoo could they truly experience the sensation of powerlessness.

It was akin to a mage contending with a warrior who possessed magical resistance. Anyone attempting to face him would feel utterly defeated. If you don't believe it, try it.

The movements of Susanoo were slow, giving Sengoku and Sakazuki a moment to breathe, but by then Larson had already approached them again, cutting off their retreat.

Behind them lay a Navy warship. If they retreated and Larson casually attacked it, they would lose their ship.

With determination, Larson raised the giant blade in his hand and sliced at Sengoku and Sakazuki.

They evaded separately, but Susanoo's sluggish motions were its only weakness.

"Bang!"

With one strike of Susanoo's golden sword, the entire ice surface cracked open.

Sengoku, airborne in this moment, shouted, "Good opportunity! Let's go!"

Once again, another chance.

Sakazuki was exhausted upon hearing this declaration. Sengoku had shouted similar sentiments at least three times during the fight, and now his head ached from hearing it again.

Yet, as Sengoku transformed into the form of a giant Buddha and unleashed his shockwave, Sakazuki had no choice but to follow suit.

Realizing it was essential to exploit the moment during Larson's attack, Sengoku took advantage of the opportunity. With Susanoo's knife still embedded in the ice, it was unlikely Larson could defend himself at that moment.

But...

Larson appeared nonchalant.

You can't hit me even if I stand still!

He witnessed Sakazuki's magma fist and Sengoku's shockwave strike against Susanoo's armor. The magma flowed along the surface of Susanoo, creating a "sizzling" sound as it met the ice, boiling the surface beneath.

Yet... Susanoo remained unbroken.

Everyone working alongside Sakazuki felt numb. They were at a point where any of them could fight, yet no one had the will to do so. He would rather face Whitebeard now than Larson.

The humiliation was overwhelming. When had he, a celebrated naval genius, ever endured such a day?

It felt deeply humiliating. His confidence eroded bit by bit under the pressure from Larson. His current mindset mirrored that of Porusalino just moments ago.

Seeing Larson's ability to be invincible in the presence of pirates in full effect, Sakazuki began to doubt everything about himself.

Though he was known for his extreme righteousness and the deep hostility he harbored toward pirates, and while he held wishes to eliminate them all from existence, that didn't preclude him from feeling fear. He too experienced deep powerlessness and despair against such an opponent. Today's battle laid a dark cloud of uncertainty over the navy members who faced Larson.

On the Navy warship, Tsuru had been monitoring the battle with Larson.

At this moment, Porusalino stood beside her, while Kuzan had vanished.

Porusalino's abilities had yet to be restored, so he felt his only contribution was to stand by.

"It's terrifying, absolutely terrifying. Why is there such a monster? Why are the captain and the vice-admiral all so powerful?"

Porusalino, who had been observing for five minutes, began to break down his defenses.

He initially thought this mission would be a simple trap to eliminate pirates. After all, they had so many people here, which could even be claimed as the strongest lineup of the Navy. However, the outcome had been entirely different from what he anticipated.

Whitebeard, who was still managing to hold off Zephyr and Garp, and Larson, who remained unscathed against Sengoku and Sakazuki, stood before him.

All he could think was, are these two really human beings?
