From Zephyr's attack to Larson falling into the water to Porusalino's assault, all of this transpired in a split second—only one second had passed.

Before Gion could react to the unfolding situation, Larson was shot into the water by both Zephyr and Porusalino.

As they watched the slowly sinking shadow in the sea, the Navy personnel present, except for Gion, breathed a sigh of relief. It was as if a dark haze that had shrouded their hearts had finally dissipated.

To them, Larson, as a Devil Fruit user, no longer posed a threat once he was submerged in the water. All that awaited him was the grim fate of drowning.

It's over...

Kuzan felt a sense of relief wash over him. Although he had not directly fought Larson and had merely frozen him from a distance, he could feel the immense power contained within Larson's body at the moment the ice encased him. An overwhelming sense of invincibility suddenly emerged in Kuzan's heart toward Larson.

There may be some exaggeration in these feelings, but it cannot be denied that Larson's appearance today significantly impacted the future trajectories of the many Navy personnel present.

Porusalino and Sakazuki might have to devote their time to training in the six paths and honing their Haki after returning home.

Larson had given them a crucial lesson today, allowing them to experience the helplessness that accompanies a lack of exceptional Haki and mastery of the six paths.

"Thump!"

At that moment, the sound of splashing water reached everyone's ears.

Kuzan felt a jolt of concern. When he turned around and saw the figure beside him disappearing, a dreadful feeling gripped him.

"Gion!"

A distant voice called out, and it was Tsuru, who had come off the boat.

"What happened?" Sakazuki asked.

"Gion jumped into the water," Kuzan replied solemnly.

"What?!"

Everyone was taken aback upon hearing this.

"Gion! Gion!"

Tsuru finally made it over. She knelt at the edge of the ice cave and could faintly see a figure diving below the surface.

Frowning, she turned to Kuzan, "What's going on? Why did Gion jump into the water?"

Kuzan responded in frustration, "I don't know why she did it."

Clenching his fists, he looked grim. Gion's earlier shout still echoed in his ears, the word "Pops" resonating in his heart.

'Did Gion jump into the water to save Larson? What on earth did she experience on the ship...?'

Just as everyone contemplated Gion's actions, the entire ice began to shake violently.

The source of the disturbance was Whitebeard, who was engaged in battle with Garp not far away.

Garp shouted, "Come and help!"

Seeing everyone crowding around the ice cave, he was filled with frustration.

He could hardly manage the fight against Whitebeard alone, realizing that Whitebeard's power at that moment was even greater than during their earlier joint assault against Zephyr and himself.

Garp's fear intensified.

What kind of monster is this? Just moments ago, one man faced the two of us without even using his full strength!

When the others in the distance noticed the situation, they immediately rushed over to assist Garp. Only Tsuru remained where she was, staring intently at the sea below.

"Whitebeard, your vice-captain is dead; why are you still resisting?" Zephyr shouted, charging back into the fight against Whitebeard.

This time, he was accompanied by three additional fighters: Sakazuki, Porusalino, and Kuzan.

Another blow landed, and the ice trembled once more.

Whitebeard swung the naginata in his hand, "Who do you think you are?!"

Though he had seen Larson shot into the water, he felt no concern. It was true that a Devil Fruit user would perish in the sea, but Larson was not merely any user. Why should he worry?

These foolish Navy personnel believed they could handle Larson simply because he had entered the ocean. To Whitebeard, it was nothing short of ridiculous.

Could a swarm of ants defeat an elephant?

While this metaphor might be a bit exaggerated and unfair in comparing the Navy to ants, it truly reflected Whitebeard's mindset.

He regarded these Navy members with disdain. Who was Larson to him?

In Whitebeard's eyes, someone who could match his strength could not be defeated by a handful of mere Navy men.

With the support of Sakazuki and the others, Garp thought he would finally be able to gain an upper hand. However, what happened next took him by surprise.

Sengoku, in his giant Buddha form, unleashed a shockwave toward Whitebeard. zephyr and Garp attacked simultaneously from both sides, while Porusalino continued his barrage of golden light attacks from above.

Whitebeard lowered his naginata and pounded his sides with both fists.

In an instant, an overwhelming storm erupted around him, knocking zephyr, Garp, and Sengoku away.

The next moment, Whitebeard dodged Porusalino's aerial harassment and positioned himself behind Sakazuki.

Sakazuki was taken aback. "I didn't even hit you! Why are you hitting me?!"

Sakazuki couldn't even clearly grasp Whitebeard's movements. Suddenly, Whitebeard seized his head and slammed it onto the ice.

Sakazuki attempted to evade with his elemental powers, but it was too late.

Whitebeard gripped his head tightly and unleashed the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's power.

Cracks spread through the ice beneath Sakazuki, and it shattered beneath him.

In an instant, Sakazuki's mind went blank, consciousness vanishing abruptly.

Whitebeard stood up, leaving Sakazuki lying unconscious on the ice, his head dipping into the water—completely unaware of life or death.

One man had taken down one of six fighters, and while their physical conditions contributed to this outcome, it was a clear demonstration of Whitebeard's terrifying strength.

He convinced everyone there that he was the strongest man in the world.

After incapacitating Sakazuki, Whitebeard glanced at Porusalino in the sky. At that instant, Porusalino felt a strong urge to flee. He was reminded of the same feeling he had faced with Larson—a sense of desperation and powerlessness.

No, Porusalino steadied himself. Larson had been eliminated by them; Whitebeard was not a significant threat. If things became too troublesome, he could always run away!

After all, without Larson, no one could stop his escape.

With this thought calming him, Porusalino regained his composure.

Whitebeard laughed heartily and taunted, "Hahaha, Navy, is this all you can manage? I haven't had enough fun yet; surely you won't be able to continue like this, right?"

Arrogance!

Yet, Whitebeard had the strength to back it up.

Watching the unconscious Sakazuki, Zephyr sighed. He had hoped that their struggles would stabilize once Larson was taken care of, but now they remained powerless against Whitebeard.

At that moment, Tsuru approached from a distance. Squinting her eyes, she said, "Whitebeard, if you don't save Larson, he might truly die."

"Die?" Whitebeard scoffed. "Even if my brother were to die, it won't be at the hands of you worthless fools. Who do you think you are to kill Larson?"

After speaking, Whitebeard swung his naginata multiple times before bringing it crashing down onto the ice.

He looked skyward and shouted, "Larson, get in!"

Splash!!

The surface of the water erupted, and a ball of blue flame shot out from the depths of the sea.

The flames soared into the air and exploded, revealing Larson, enveloped in blue flames.

Larson emerged carrying someone in his grasp—it was Gion, who had jumped into the sea to rescue him.

Gion was completely drenched, her head drooping, as Larson held her collar, suspending her above the water.

"what is this!!!" Porusalino exclaimed, his pupils shrinking in shock. He could hardly comprehend that Larson was still alive after plunging into the ocean.

What in the world?!

The others around him displayed equally astonished expressions.
