Separation

As soon as the siren went off, Fu Zongshang's eyes snapped open. He hurriedly got out of bed, put on his clothes and weapon, and rushed out of his dormitory. As soon as he stepped outside, his assistant and adjutants were already waiting for him.

Before Fu Zongshang could ask, his assistant handed him a tablet and reported, "Commander, the surveillance team just sent this to us."

Watching the surveillance footage as he rushed to the command center, Fu Zongshang quickly made his way to the main screen upon arrival.

Seeing him enter, one of the staff members immediately reported, "Commander, the asteroid has entered the yellow zone. It will hit our planet in less than six hours."

Fu Zongshang's heart sank as he stared at the massive asteroid on the live surveillance feed. His hands clenched into fists while his mind spun at a fast speed.

A few seconds later, he commanded, "Begin the evacuation now."
