"... Before the coming-of-age ceremony, I will return." Ryan said, closing his eyes before stating the desired deadline.

"Why so long?" Reynold asked, confused.

"Because I will travel across this entire continent." Ryan replied with a serious expression.

This immediately shocked Reynold and Leyfia, who exchanged glances with each other.

"No, you can't go alone." Reynold quickly rejected.

"That's my request." Ryan stated, making it clear that it was his wish and he did not want it to be changed.

"If that's the case, then I will not agree to that request." Reynold said, looking at Ryan with a sharp gaze.

"Didn't Father already promise?" Ryan quickly brought up the agreement.

"You're just going to go alone with a servant for years? That doesn't make sense!" Reynold raised his voice slightly.

"... What if I said this makes sense?" Ryan replied calmly.

"What do you mean, son?" Reynold asked with curiosity.

"I have enough ability to survive out there, just with Charlotte. To prove this, I want to have a sparring match with Father, but Father cannot use both hands, cannot use Mana Energy, and cannot use physical strength above Level C." Ryan said, looking at Reynold.

"... What did you just say, son?" Reynold paused and asked with a serious face, seeing that deep inside Ryan was scared, but due to his Frozen Heart ability, Ryan's expression remained calm on the outside, even though inside he was terrified and panicking because of the extraordinary aura emanating from Reynold.

"I said what I said, I will prove myself by fighting with my father. If I can inflict a small wound, whether it's a scratch or a small bruise, then I win and am allowed to explore the continent, how about that?" Ryan proposed an idea.

"Of course." Ryan nodded in agreement.

"... Haahh... What did you just do, Ryan?" Leyfia suddenly sighed and glared at Ryan.

"... I just want to prove to myself that I can explore without needing a tight escort." Ryan said, averting his gaze towards Leyfia.

"Haaah... If you want to win, at least you should have said not to exceed Level F? Why did you ask for Level C instead?" Leyfia asked with a puzzled expression.

"I'm not alone..." Ryan replied, glancing at Charlotte.

"...?" Leyfia looked at Ryan for a moment before glancing at Charlotte.

"I'm done eating, Mom, I'm leaving now." Ryan said as he walked out, heading back to his room, followed by Charlotte who quickly caught up with Ryan after saying goodbye to Leyfia and Lyana.

Seeing this, Leyfia looked at Lyana, and Lyana looked back at Leyfia, both mother and daughter exchanging confused glances.

It was clear that both of them were curious and puzzled about Ryan's plan, as Ryan had not mentioned any plans other than glancing at Charlotte, which made Leyfia and Lyana even more curious to know.
