Ch 46: Room on the Magic Airship

The three of them stepped up the stairs of the Station leading to where the Magic Airship was docked. The Magic Airship, which appeared to float gracefully in the air, was one of the technological wonders developed in the Empire.

Their journey out of the Allen Empire would be long and full of challenges. This Magic Airship would take them across many regions, and the duration of the journey would greatly depend on the conditions and the distance to be traveled.

If this journey were to use land vehicles like Horse Carriages, Magic Cars, or Magic Trains, the time required would be much longer. However, with this Magic Airship, even though the journey could take weeks or even months, they could at least hope to arrive at their destination more quickly and safely.

Magic Trains are indeed much faster compared to Horse Carriages, Magic Cars, or Magic Motorcycles. However, their speed still pales in comparison to that of the Magic Airship, which floats in the air and crosses regions with astonishing grace.

After they reached the top of the Station, Ryan immediately boarded the prepared Magic Airship. The ship loomed large, with an astonishing length, like a metal dragon ready to soar. Dozens, even hundreds of passengers, appeared to be flocking into the ship, each carrying hopes and worries known only to themselves.

As Ryan stepped inside, a young woman greeted him. She had short red hair that shimmered under the light, deep blue eyes like the night sea, and wore a black shirt and a short skirt that showcased her graceful and enchanting figure.

"Here is your room key, sir. Your room is on the 4th floor, number 62," said the woman in a soft yet professional voice, handing over the key.

Ryan, with his calm demeanor, accepted the key without showing any emotion.

The woman was momentarily surprised by Ryan's cold demeanor, but then smiled slightly as if feeling relieved and grateful.

Without much conversation, Ryan headed straight to the 4th floor. When Ryan found room number 62 and entered, he was greeted by the sight of a simple yet comfortable room.

A large bed, sufficient for three people, was placed in the center of the room, surrounded by minimalist furniture. Next to the bed, a large window revealed a stunning view outside.

Ryan stepped closer to the window, glancing outside. From there, he could see the bustling Magic Airship Station and the magnificent Starsteel City with its large, sturdy walls surrounding it. The city looked like a giant fortress, protecting great secrets within.

After a moment of enjoying the view, Ryan decided to close the window with thick curtains. He knew that privacy was very important, especially on a long journey like this. With the window closed, he felt safer and more at ease, away from the prying eyes that might be lurking.

After ensuring his room was secure, Ryan walked to a door in the corner of the room. When he opened it, he found a simple yet clean bathroom.

"At least I don't have to worry about the bathroom," Ryan thought with a small smile, feeling relieved that the ship's facilities met his expectations.

Although this was just a room on a Passenger Ship, its quality was clearly among the best. Ryan sat on the edge of the bed, feeling a bit of happiness from the comfort he had found so far. In the midst of that tranquility, a voice broke the silence.

"Young Master Ryan, can you now explain where our actual destination is?" Ellina asked in a serious tone, her face sharply focused on Ryan. Ellina's eyes were full of determination, as if demanding an answer that could not be postponed any longer.
