Liam's POV
As he was about to remove my pants, a sudden knock resonated through the room, cutting through the tension like a knife.
"Aaron, what are you doing in there?" called out a youthful voice from the other side of the door, filled with innocent curiosity and a tinge of concern. It was unmistakably the voice of a young boy, probably no older than ten. My heart raced as I quickly glanced at the scattered clothes strewn across the floor. In my haste, I grabbed my shirt, which had fallen in the chaos, and hastily pulled it over my head, trying to regain some semblance of composure.
I looked at Aaron, whose expression was one of annoyance mixed with embarrassment. He shifted his gaze downward, clearly irritated at the interruption. There was something almost childlike in his reaction; it was as if he didn't want to admit that we had been caught in such an intimate moment.
With a heavy sigh, he opened the door, and the young boy burst into the room as if he were on a mission. His energy filled the space, and for a moment, I felt relief wash over me as I realized we were no longer alone in this awkward scenario. The tension that had been building moments before dissipated, replaced by the carefree spirit of childhood. The boy's innocent presence provided a welcome distraction, but I couldn't shake the feeling of vulnerability that lingered in the air.
We spent the afternoon playing and bonding with Aaron's younger brother, Jamie. He was such a delightful child, full of energy and enthusiasm. His laughter was infectious, and his charm was undeniable; I couldn't help but adore him. As I chatted with him, I discovered that he was only 9 years old, yet he carried himself with a surprisingly mature demeanor for someone so young. I loved him to bits, and it was evident that he enjoyed our time together as well.
As we were lost in our games, I noticed Aaron suddenly stand up, a look of determination on his face. He signaled for Liam to leave, and I could sense that something was about to change in our afternoon's dynamic.
"Why?" Jamie whined, his eyes wide with confusion and a touch of disappointment. It was clear he was enjoying our time together and wasn't quite ready to say goodbye.
"We have to study," Aaron replied nonchalantly, as if the decision was final and without room for negotiation.
"Okay, but you owe me!" Jamie exclaimed with a playful pout, sprinting out of the bedroom before his brother could say anything else. The door swung shut behind him, leaving just the two of us in the quiet room.
Once the sound of Jamie's footsteps faded away, Aaron turned his attention to the task at hand. He closed the door gently, creating a peaceful atmosphere for our study session. I took this opportunity to rummage through my bag, careful to find my notes and books for our study time.
After I pulled out the necessary materials, I placed them neatly on top of his neatly made bed. Glancing up, I noticed Aaron standing next to the closed door, his expression shifting from playful to serious as we prepared to focus on our studies.
Aaron slowly approached me, reaching out to take the books from my hands. His demeanor was calm and collected, and I could see he was ready to dive into the financial aspects of our subjects. We settled into a rhythm as we worked through the topics together, discussing key concepts and helping one another understand the material better.
Time slipped away unnoticed, and before we knew it, the sun had begun to set, casting a warm golden glow through the window. By the time we finished our study session, it was around 5 PM in the evening. We had made considerable progress, and a sense of accomplishment filled the room as we wrapped up our discussions.
