The threat

After much thinking elsa made up her mind to accept the marriage.

"is this how i will just get married,just like that"esla muttered ,she still found it difficult to believe that she would be getting married tomorrow.

"hey bestie open up"Alice said as she knocked on the door.

Elsa stood up from her bed and walked to open the door,as soon as she did she embraced alice in a warm hug.

"i need this"esla muttered into alice hair,alice smiled and hugged Elsa .

"your mom told me everything, I'm so sorry Elsa"alice said,esla broke the hug and smiled.

"its alright,i can do this"Elsa Affirmed her words.

"thats good to hear,i am here for alright"alice said and they both smiled then hugged each other one more time.

After tina the only person elsa loved more was her childhood best friend who was like a sister to her,alice.

~{{NEXT MORNING ;WEDDING DAY}}~

The church was well beautified with white flowers and the alter was set so majestic everything to victoria taste.

"ma'am the priest will soon be hear but i can't find the groom or the bride"the junior priest said to victoria.

"am sure they are just running late you know its a big day for them they have to look to the event"Victoria said and chuckled nervously. the junior priest nodded and left.

"where is your daughter??"Victoria said as soon as she saw Marcel in the hall.

"you didn't even ask why i came??"marcel answered back.

"okay,why are you here,you are to come with the bride as her father"Victoria asked.

"forget that ,her mother will bring her,i just you to assure me that after this wedding you will leave me be,i owe you nothing again"Marcel said and Victoria smiled.

"yes of course Marcel no need to worry i even paid you for this,don't you see how generous i am"Victoria said but Marcel scoffed at her words.

"you better keep to your words Victoria"Marcel said

"the bride will be running late,tell your so called shaman to delay for them,and i can't even see the groom maybe they both ditched there own wedding"Marcel said then laughed at his words.

"fool,go get your daughter"Victoria shook her head and walked inside the hall .

~{{BACK AT AURELIO MANSION}}~

fred walked into the mansion in anger he had called the house earlier and they told him that aurelio was still asleep.

"how can he sleep when he knows what this wedding means to Victoria"Fred muttered as he walked up the stairs to aurelio's room.

"son,its dad open up"Fred said as he knocked on aurelio's door.

After much knocking and hitting aurelio finally open the door.

"dad why are you banging my door so hard"aurelio said as he used his hands to clean his eyes.

"wow he was really sleeping"fred muttered.

"your mother is waiting for you in the church and you are sleeping"fred snapped at aurelio.

"the priest can wait one hour longer,am not the one in a hurry to get married"aurelio snapped and closed the door loudly on fred face.

fred sighed "only God knows how he will treat esmeralda when she comes to live with him"fred said and walked back down the stairs to wait for aurelio.

AT THE SANTOS HOUSE.

"oh my gosh Marcel is going to be so angry"tina said in fear she was currently in elsa room trying to wake her but elsa didn't even budge.

"mom let me sleep"elsa muttered in her sleep.

"its your wedding the groom must be waiting"tina tried to convince her.

"he can wait an hour more ,not like anyone is in a hurry to get married definitely not me"elsa said then used her pillow to cover her ears .

"but your father will be bad remember his words yesterday,elsa you promised me"tina said .

Elsa hissed loudly then stood up the bed and tina smiled happily.

"dont smile mom i just only stood up,i will take my time to bath then do my hair and wear the dress then eat in my own time"elsa said and tina smiled faded .

"just hurry please"tina said ,elsa only nodded then entered into the bathroom.

2 HOURS LATER.

"we are so late"alice said as she and tina waited for elsa to come down.

Finally she did,she was putting on a white gown as the bride with a flower in her hand her hair was made in a bun with pins to hold the curls up,she was looking ever so beautiful .

"you look gorgeous in this dress"alice complimented and elsa smiled.

"you can compliment her later we are already so late i wonder why no body has even called" tina said.

"maybe because the groom isn't even there yet"elsa scoffed.

~{{CHURCH}}~

The guest had gotten tired waiting for the bride and groom who still hadn't showed up.

"madam victoria are you sure they are still coming??"one of the guest asked after much waiting.

"yes ,maybe something came up "Victoria said trying to convince them and also her self.

She had called aurelio five times but he didn't pick the call.

"maybe the bride must have run away".

"i heard this is a forced marriage may e they both ran away"the people gossiped among themselves.

"if elsa doesn't show up am going to kill her"marcel said through gritted teeth .

"no need for that uncle,they are here"sasha said and she pointed to the direction of the car elsa came down in.

As time would have it ,aurelio car drove in also and he got down hastily .

Elsa got down from the car and her eyes locked with aurelio for a split second but she tore it.

"this cannot be true,elsa is getting married to aurelio i mean aurelio romez,somebody pinch me"sasha almost screamed as she saw aurelio dressed in his black suit with hands in his pocket he walked charmingly towards the altar .

"he looks familiar i don't know why"elsa thought to her self.

"enough staling get working young lady"Marcel said as he placed esla hands in between his. as the father he would be the one to walk the bride to the altar.

elsa began walking with Marcel to the altar. "you can still run if you don't want"her consciousness said to her.

"don't even think of it"marcel whispered to elsa ,it was as if he knew what was in her mind.

Elsa swallowed hard as they reached the altar. Her eyes widened in shock as she got a better look at aurelio.

"aurelio romez is who am getting married to??"elsa thought inwardly,she looked over to sasha and saw her fuming in anger .

"we have all gathered here to witness the wedding ceremony of aurelio romez and Esmeralda santos please have your seats as they both take their vows"the priest said and everyone sat on.

Aurelio didn't spare elsa a glance he had an emotionless look on his face one couldn't read his mood.

"do you aurelio romez promise to be a good husband to esmeralda santos to love and care for her both in happy and sad times??" the priest read the vows.

There was silence for about 30 seconds since aurelio didn't say a thing,everyone waited patiently for aurelio to respond but he didn't .

Aurelio looked over to victoria and she gave him a pleading look.

"mr aurelio do you accept??"the priest asked once more.

" i do" aurelio finally said,victoria heaved a deep sigh of relief as she held her chest , her smile knew no bound.

"and do you esmeralda santos promise to be a good wife to aurelio romez to bear his name from hance forth and also to bear his children ,to stand by him in both happy and sad times??"the priest asked esmeralda .

"say no if you don't your life will be ruined you will lose the opportunity to express the love you said you wanted come on elsa just say no" her consciousness spoke to her.

"i do"elsa said instead and a tear broke from her eyes.

There was no way she could say no after she remembered the threat her father laid on her and her mother.

"if there is anyone who has an objection to this union speak now or hold your peace forever"the priest said ,since no one stood or said anything he proceed.

"with the power invested in me as the high priest and with the witnesses for this union i now pronounce you husband and wife,you may kiss the bride"the priest said.

elsa stood still waiting to know what would happen next and it finally did.

There was a great up roar from the audience as aurelio smashed his lips on elsa ,who was shocked to her bones her ever first kiss was her wedding kiss who could believe that??.

after few seconds aurelio broke the kiss and starred into Elsa's eyes .

Nervousness gripped elsa as she played with her fingers not knowing weather to move away from him or stay put,his looks scared the life out of her.

"dont be happy about his wedding wifey, because you just signed your death wish on this day,i promise to make your life a living night mare in this marriage wait and watch wifey"aurelio whispered into elsa ears his words were laid with venom each one of them went into elsa mind and she began to shiver in fear.
