Prove of Loyalty

Trust but verify - Ronald Reagan

"How can we believe you? What reason do we have to trust you? How do we prove your loyalty?" This from Leo who couldn't believe that the son of his enemy could be a good person.

"I have no reason to hate you, brother. You have been nothing but good to me since we were young. You and uncle Laurent were more of a family to me than my own family.

What do you need me to do to prove to you that I am on your side?" He finished as he looked at them.

He loved the picture they portrayed. Love and serenity. He wished that he will, one day, find such love. But to him, love wasn't on the forefront of his mind. He wanted to finish some things first and when he was settled, he would then think of love.
