Leo slept deeply but his sleep was plagued by dreams of Dylan's crying face calling to go asking him not to leave. However, Leo didn't wake up but in one dream, Dylan was so pale and so malnourished that it hurt Leo's heart and he opened his eyes and found that his face was wet. He had been crying in his sleep too.
He sat up unsteadily and stared blankly at the darkness outside the windows. He couldn't see anything outside. There was nothing. Rather, his eyes were unfocused as he tried to bring his Brian back to reality from the pain that was plaguing him. The pain that had become a part of him.
“D... I have always liked you,” Leo said to no one in the dark and the tears flowed out more.
" D... can I really not be forgiven if I let it go?"
"Dylan..." He cried bitterly and his face in the palms of his hands that did little to prevent the tears from falling on the duvet that had fallen and gathered on his lap.
