"Father, we still have hope," said Shadow.
A great war raged between Azeroth and Belarus. The Kingdom of Belarus, led by Disonius Khan, was expanding aggressively and conquering neighboring kingdoms. "Yes, we still have hope, and that hope is you. Retreat and leave this battlefield immediately," said King Dainosius of Azeroth to a black-haired man.
"What plan do you have, Father?" asked Shadow.
"You are the plan. As long as you live, Azeroth will not be completely lost," said King Dainosius.
"This war was started by Uncle Disonius. Why do we have to suffer?" asked Shadow.
"It's all because of your grandfather. Due to a small mistake, he punished your uncle very harshly. Remember, Shadow, don't repeat your grandfather's mistakes," said King Dainosius of Azeroth.
King Dainosius then struck Shadow hard in the stomach, causing him to gradually lose consciousness. He ordered one of his knights to lift Shadow onto a horse and then slapped the horse's flank, sending it galloping away.
Shadow awoke from the dream, his body sweating and trembling. "The same dream... Father..." he said, looking at the necklace that marked his royal lineage. "It's been two years since then. King Disonius is lucky he didn't find me and thought I died in the Battle of Dark Clift," Shadow murmured as he gazed at the necklace.
He quickly got up and took a morning bath. The day was quite bright, and the Town of Marry was bustling with activity. Shadow donned his black-painted armor and black cloak, then grabbed his deathscythe, pausing to reflect. "Thanathos Deathscythe, without this weapon, I wouldn't have survived," he said, recalling the moment a hooded man had given him the deathscythe when he was lost in the Dark Forest of Malebolge.
Shadow left the inn and walked towards the Hunter Guild.
Upon arriving at the Adventure Guild, Shadow noticed Marrie working at the reception desk. He sat down and ordered breakfast. Shortly after, a group of townspeople from another village arrived and registered a task that might be taken up by the adventurers visiting the Town of Marry. Shadow, while eating, observed these people and quickly finished his meal. The townspeople handed over a pouch of money and promptly left. Shadow then approached Marrie.
"Marrie, it looks like there's a new job with a decent pay. What's the task?" asked Shadow.
"A group of goblins attacked Alkania Village and caused severe damage to the residents' homes. Are you interested?" asked Marrie.
"Goblins, huh? Sure, why not. It's only a day's journey, right? I'll take the job for this pay," said Shadow.
"Alright then, you are officially taking this job," said Marrie, stamping the request form and adjusting her glasses.
"Before we set off, I need to make some preparations. Would you like to accompany me?" Shadow asked.
"But I'm currently working. I'm afraid if I leave, the Guild Master will scold me," Marrie replied.
"Oh, Shadow wants to take Marrie out? Sure thing. It's okay once in a while. Alice, come here and temporarily replace Marrie," said a middle-aged man with silver hair, dressed in noble attire but simpler.
"Guild Master," Shadow said, bowing.
"Go ahead, Marrie. You've been working hard on your own," said the Guild Master. Marrie was pleasantly surprised and nodded.
Shadow then left the Adventure Guild with Marrie. They headed to the Potion Shop and entered the store.
"Linda... I'd like to buy some potions for tomorrow's job. Do you have all the potions and elixirs in stock?" Shadow asked a woman with brown hair. She had amber-colored eyes and wore a maid outfit with a black mini skirt.
"Of course! We received a new shipment from Gold Moon village yesterday," Linda replied.
"In that case, I'll need 20 bottles of Potion of Health XL, 50 Light Health Potions, 10 Awakening Potions, 5 Haste Pills, 5 Thunder Potions, and a Scroll of Invisibility," Shadow said, handing over a small bag of money.
"Alright, just wait a moment," Linda said, taking the money and heading into the shop. Marrie looked around the store and noticed several bottles of potions, becoming intrigued by one small bottle in particular.
"Here are all your orders, Shadow. I'll give you one bonus potion of your choice," Linda said, handing over the items. "You can choose. I'll wait outside," Shadow said, leaving the Potion Shop.
"What kind potion it is?" Marrie asked.
"Potion of Good Luck? That potion is incredibly powerful. Anyone who drinks just one drop of it will become the luckiest person in the world," Linda replied.
"I'll take this one then. Since you gave Shadow a bonus bottle earlier, I'll choose this potion as the bonus," Marrie said.
"Alright then, Shadow's bonus is now settled," Linda said. Marrie then exited the shop to meet Shadow, who was waiting outside.
"already done? Next stop is the blacksmith. Uncle Gulark should have finished repairing my damaged gauntlet," Shadow said, and Marrie simply nodded. Shadow walked alongside Marrie towards the blacksmith, with Marrie hugging Shadow's arm. "We're like on a date," Shadow remarked.
"Indeed," Marrie said, while holding Shadow's hand. Unaware, they had already arrived at the blacksmith and quickly entered the house.
"Uncle Gulark, is it done?" Shadow asked.
"Ah, Shadow... coincidentally, it's already finished. The damage was quite severe, so I repaired this gauntlet with a stronger material," said a Dwarf with a black beard. He had accompanied Shadow to the Town of Marry two years ago.
"Let me have a look first..." Shadow said, examining the gauntlet. "I used a unique metal called Aluminum; it's quite strong but very lightweight," Gulark explained.
"Can you take orders for my armor?" Shadow inquired.
"Sure thing, as long as you've got the funds," Gulark chuckled.
"Uncle, could you sharpen this Deathscythe for me?" Shadow asked, handing over his black Deathscythe.
"In 10 minutes, it'll be capable of taking lives," Gulark said, taking the Deathscythe and beginning to sharpen it.
After 10 minutes passed, Gulark returned with Shadow's Deathscythe, his face displaying a mix of surprise and admiration. "It's done, and I have to admit, this Deathscythe is surprisingly lightweight and possesses extremely ancient enchantments," Gulark said.
"How did you know, Uncle?" Shadow asked.
"The runic inscriptions on this Deathscythe are evidence, and they're incredibly ancient," Gulark explained.
"Alright then, here's the payment, Uncle," Shadow said, handing over the money. Shadow then promptly put on the gauntlet, with Marrie's assistance. After that, Shadow and Marrie left the place.
Shadow and Marrie wandered around the town, exploring many interesting places. Marrie, who was usually busy, was visibly delighted and happy. "So, how was it? Are you satisfied with seeing the city?" Shadow asked. Marrie simply nodded happily.
"Marrie, what are your future plans?" Shadow inquired.
"Well, maybe becoming the wife of an adventurer and going on adventures with my husband. How about you?" Marrie replied.
"Me? My dreams lie in the past. Looking ahead, I'll probably just continue adventuring and seeing the world," Shadow said.
"Oh, it's already evening. I'll escort you back to the Adventure Guild," Shadow said. Marrie shook her head. "Where do you want to go?" Shadow asked.
"To where you're staying. I want to see what your place looks like," Marrie said.
"Alright, but if it's not nice, don't complain," Shadow said, as he led Marrie to the inn where he rested.
"This is it, small and cozy," Shadow said as he opened the door. Marrie entered, and Shadow closed the door behind her. "Quite comfortable and quiet," Marrie remarked.
"It's just okay; I've rented better accommodations before," Shadow replied.
"Have you ever felt lonely?" Marrie asked.
"Sometimes, I guess... but," Shadow's words were cut off as Marrie kissed him on the lips. Shadow enjoyed the kiss and embraced Marrie. Unconsciously, Shadow's hands began to explore Marrie's body.
Shadow slowly removed Marrie's clothes while kissing her, and Marrie blushed and removed Shadow's armor. Shadow pinned Marrie on the bed and began to lick her chest, moving downwards. Marrie began to moan in pleasure.
"Shadow, please," Marrie pleaded.
Shadow immediately inserted his penis into Marrie's vagina and began to move slowly. Marrie moaned in pleasure and hugged Shadow. Shadow moved his hips slowly, and Marrie's moans grew louder.
"Shadow, please," Marrie moaned.
"Marrie, you're so beautiful," Shadow said as he began to move his hips faster. Marrie's moans grew louder, and Shadow's pace quickened. Marrie held onto Shadow tightly.
"Sh-Shad... Shadow... I'm... Aaahhh!" Marrie moaned loudly.
"Marrie, I'm about to climax too," Shadow said as he moved his hips rapidly. Shadow released all his load, and a huge wave came out. Marrie moaned loudly and hugged Shadow tightly.
Shadow lay beside Marrie, exhausted, and hugged her. Marrie, still weak, snuggled closer to Shadow. "Marrie, aren't you afraid I won't come back?" Shadow asked, caressing Marrie's cheek.
"I'm actually very scared, but because you're so strong, I believe you'll come back," Marrie said with a blush on her face.
"I'll do my best to come back in one piece," Shadow said.
Marrie soon fell asleep in Shadow's arms, and Shadow also fell asleep.
In the morning, Marrie woke up first and started to put on her clothes. Shadow got ready and began to don his armor. Marrie noticed Shadow's necklace and saw a symbol on it. She was surprised and accidentally dropped the necklace.
"You've seen it, haven't you? I told you my dreams lie in the past," Shadow said, picking up the necklace and putting it on.
"So all this time... Shadow, why?" Marrie asked.
"King Dionisius is my uncle. Azeroth's defeat was my grandfather's fault," Shadow explained.
"I'm sorry, Prince. Sometimes I've been rude," Marrie apologized.
"It's okay, Marrie. I'm no longer a prince... now I'm protecting the kingdom from monster threats and exploring the world," Shadow replied. Marrie hugged and kissed Shadow.
"Please come back safely... Prince Shadow," Marrie said, winking at him. Shadow nodded and put on his armor. Shadow and Marrie had breakfast together at the inn. After breakfast, Shadow went to the stables and rented a horse. He mounted the horse and helped Marrie get on. Shadow then escorted Marrie back to the Adventure Guild.
"Tomorrow I'll send the job report. Goblins are quite clever, but they don't know what they're up against yet," Shadow said as he helped Marrie dismount from the horse. Marrie nodded with a beautiful smile. Shadow then spurred his horse and rode towards Alkania Village.
