"So that's how it is," Lisa said.
"Yes, I have to bring the daughter of the Black Arrow Dark Elf..." Shadow replied, observing a dark elf with tan skin, purple eyes, and silver hair. Marrie and Mistral were busy explaining some things on the adventurer form, but Shadow remembered the incident vividly.
"HHHHHHHEEEEEEEE....?!?!? Uncle Michael wasn't kidding, was he? Even though Luciana is an old friend of mine, she hasn't fully mastered the Force Blade technique," Shadow exclaimed.
"Force Blade? Marrie, do you know what that is?" Mistral asked.
"I don't know," Marrie replied, shaking her head.
"You, who have already learned the technique, can teach Luciana. Besides, you're still alone," Michael suggested. Hearing this, Shadow signaled to Michael, who burst into laughter.
"Luciana, come here and meet Prince Shadow Blackheart," Cassandra called out to someone.
"Master... what is... oh, you must be His Majesty Blackheart..." the Dark Elf addressed Shadow.
"Just call me Shadow, and I'm no longer a prince," Shadow corrected him.
"Luciana, prepare your belongings. Shadow will be your mentor in the art of the Force Blade," Cassandra instructed.
"Alright..." Luciana agreed. Shortly after, Luciana arrived and bid farewell to the Black Arrow, returning to the Town of Mary with Shadow, Mistral, and Marrie.
"So, how was your search in the Dark Forest?" Lisa asked.
"Oh, I just stopped by to meet an old friend. He's a mediator for travelers who just want to pass through," Shadow replied.
"And the souvenir was that Dark Elf?" Lisa inquired.
"She's an acquaintance's adopted daughter. Coincidentally, you and her daughter grew up together, and she wants her daughter to see the world," Shadow explained.
"So, she's the newest member of your group? I'm jealous~" Lisa teased.
"If you want to help me with the next task, maybe I can share the reward," Shadow suggested, prompting Lisa to tease him further.
"Shadow, there's a task that I think suits us," Marrie interrupted.
"Alright, let me see," Shadow said, walking over to the bulletin board.
"Look, there's a task to exterminate some insects in the Town of Mary Water Curved," Mistral pointed out.
"I hate insects..." Shadow grumbled.
"What about catching a Magica Bunny?" Mistral suggested.
"The trap is complicated... I once ordered the trap, and it took a week to finish..." Shadow recalled.
"How about hunting the Dragon of Lavarian?" Marrie proposed.
"Interesting... but we need a lot of people, including a skilled priest with healing techniques," Shadow noted.
"Exterminating a group of Wargs might be fun," Luciana suggested.
"Wargs, huh... if we could tame them, they'd make cool mounts... but as for their food..." Shadow trailed off.
"We can hunt, and the leftover bodies of the creatures we kill can be eaten," Marrie suggested.
"You guys go ahead and look into it. I'm going to see Uncle Gulark," Shadow said as he exited the Adventure Guild.
Shadow walked towards the Blacksmith, and along the way, he noticed someone selling some rather fine arrows. Shadow approached the seller. "Uncle, how much for those arrows?" he asked, pointing at them.
"Willow Bow? Quite cheap, only 3000 Gold," the merchant replied.
"Alright, I'll take those arrows," Shadow said, handing over the money and receiving the arrows. He then continued on to the Blacksmith and found Gulark at his usual spot, working on something.
"Uncle, what are you drawing?" Shadow inquired.
"The armor you ordered, what else?" Gulark replied.
"You made the armor I'm currently wearing; just use the same design," Shadow suggested.
"Hahaha, good idea. I don't need to create a new design," Gulark chuckled, tearing up the drawing.
"Oh, by the way, are these arrows made from Elderwood?" Shadow asked.
"The arrows are indeed made from Elderwood, but the quality of the bowstring is rather poor... let me handle it," Gulark said, taking the arrows inside. Shortly after, Gulark emerged with a bowstring of better quality. Shadow inspected the bowstring and was pleased.
"Thank you so much, Uncle," Shadow expressed his gratitude.
"Are you idle?" Shadow asked.
"Marrie and Mistral are currently choosing the right job. Why do you ask?" Gulark inquired.
"Coincidentally, today I posted a job for adventurers, and Titaniumforge needs assistance," Gulark explained.
"What job, Uncle?" Shadow queried.
"I received news that 5 Northwind Wargs are causing chaos. If you can eliminate or tame those Wargs, I've prepared the payment," Gulark revealed.
"So, it's your job to hunt those Wargs? Alright, I'll take that job," Shadow accepted with optimism.
"Hahaha, good... good. Still, you need a guide to Titaniumforge, right? Those 5 Wargs could make perfect mounts," Gulark suggested.
"I happen to want to see Titaniumforge. I'm curious about what the main city of the Dwarven nation looks like," Shadow admitted.
"Take it tomorrow; we'll leave together, and your armor will be ready," Gulark assured.
"Alright!" Shadow exclaimed enthusiastically, then he headed back to the Adventure Guild with the newly acquired arrows.
Shadow quickly headed to the Adventure Guild, where Mistral, Marrie, and Luciana were sitting discussing which job to take. Shadow joined them.
"Ah, Shadow, where have you been?" Marrie asked.
"Just came from Gulark's place. So, which job are we taking?" Shadow replied.
"We're still confused, so we haven't decided yet," Luciana explained.
"Would you like to take on the task of exterminating Wargs?" Shadow asked.
"But didn't you refuse?" Marrie replied.
"We just need to tame them. Plus, we can also visit the City of Titanium Forge," Shadow suggested.
"The city of the Dwarves? I'm also curious about what that city is like," Marrie said.
"That sounds interesting. I want to know what the Dwarven people are like," Mistral added.
"In that case, it's a deal," Shadow said.
Shadow then approached the receptionist. "Excuse me, we'd like to take on the job of exterminating the Wargs in Northwind," he said.
"For that job, you're required to either eliminate or tame the 5 Wargs, and you must be accompanied by Eugine Gulark Goldenbeard to complete it," the receptionist explained.
"Oh... so Uncle Eugine Gulark's full name is Goldenbeard," Shadow chuckled softly.
"Are you interested in taking on this mission?" the receptionist asked.
"My group and I are ready to take on the task," Shadow confirmed.
"We'll also contact Mr. Gulark," the receptionist said.
"I've already been informed by my uncle. He also mentioned that there's an additional reward," Shadow added.
"For the additional reward, please contact the task giver," the receptionist replied.
"Still, I'll take it. I already talked to Uncle Gulark about it earlier," Shadow said.
"In that case, we'll contact him right away," the receptionist concluded.
Shadow quickly went outside and found Luciana practicing with her sword in the back of the inn. "Your technique is pretty good, but there's something missing," Shadow remarked as he picked up a wooden stick.
"What's lacking?" Luciana asked.
"Try attacking me with your best technique," Shadow suggested. Luciana nodded and began to attack Shadow. Shadow easily dodged all of Luciana's attacks, even managing to disarm her by striking her arms and legs.
"Do you see where your weakness lies?" Shadow asked.
"Ha...ha... you're fast, that's why I lost," Luciana replied.
"The key is that your sword stance still needs improvement. Even though you're a princess from the Dark Sun Chieftain and we learn the same techniques, if you don't practice regularly, it's all just talk," Shadow explained.
Luciana shot a Fire Arrow from her hand towards Shadow, and he responded by shooting an Ice Arrow from his hand.
"Your magic technique is good, but there's still more to learn," Shadow remarked.
"Besides stance? The rest is easy," Mistral chimed in.
"Tonight, we'll go to the river and practice there," Shadow said as he headed towards the river. Luciana simply nodded.
Shadow arrived at the river and started fishing there until nightfall.
Shadow, who had been fishing since the afternoon, saw Luciana approaching and removing her armor. Luciana quickly prepared her wooden sword. Shadow walked into the river and took off his clothes, while Luciana followed suit but remained clothed.
"With a challenging terrain like this, training will be quite the challenge. Now, try to attack me," Shadow instructed. Luciana swung her wooden sword from above, but Shadow managed to dodge it. He then shot an Earth Arrow from his left hand, but Luciana blocked it. She advanced while chanting a spell, causing the water beneath Shadow to turn into ice, immobilizing him.
"That's a clever trick. You know that water can be used for ice spells, but not against me," Shadow remarked. Luciana jumped and attacked Shadow.
"Wind Blast!" Shadow exclaimed, shooting a blast of air from his left hand towards Luciana. Caught off guard while in mid-attack, Luciana blocked the blast but fell into the river.
"The next lesson is: don't use aerial attacks when your opponent is on guard," Shadow said as he freed himself from the ice and extended his hand. Luciana accepted Shadow's hand, but because her clothing was thin, Shadow could see her chest and blushed. He quickly made a campfire by the riverbank and dried Luciana's clothes. Luciana, now completely naked, sat on Shadow's lap.
"In the shadows, we've been together for quite a while," said Luciana. "Yes, I remember four years ago when we were still together in the palace," replied Shadow. "We were so young then, but you confessed your love for me directly," recalled Luciana. "Indeed, and Father agreed that we should be engaged soon... it's just that three years ago, when Uncle Disonius defected and successfully took over Belarus, the War of Agraestian erupted," Shadow explained. "Yes, if only that hadn't happened, perhaps we would already be married," sighed Luciana. Shadow then leaned in to kiss and caress Luciana's bosom, eliciting a pleasurable response from her. "Luciana... I've longed to claim you as my wife," Shadow murmured while continuing his ministrations. Luciana shyly responded to his advances.
Luciana proceeded to remove Shadow's trousers and took his member into her mouth, while Shadow tenderly stroked her. "Mischievous Dark Elf... you've missed me, haven't you?" Shadow teased, to which Luciana intensified her efforts. "Your tongue is wickedly delightful," Shadow remarked as Luciana skillfully pleasured him. She then guided Shadow's member into her moistened entrance. "Mmm, Shadow, your member is just as potent as it was three years ago," Luciana murmured as she began to move rhythmically, with Shadow's hands exploring her curves.
As Luciana increased the pace of her movements, her moans grew louder, prompting Shadow to grasp her hips and join in the rhythm. "Luciana, you haven't changed a bit in three years—still as beautiful and mischievous as ever," Shadow remarked, matching her fervor. With increased intensity, Luciana squeezed Shadow's chest, reveling in the pleasure, while Shadow quickened his thrusts until he reached his climax, emptying himself within her.
Exhausted, Luciana collapsed into Shadow's embrace, and he tenderly kissed her. "It's been too long since I felt your touch, you're still the best," Luciana whispered. "It's time we return to the inn," Shadow suggested, holding her close as they prepared to depart.
Shadow and Luciana quickly donned their garments once more before heading back to the inn. Marrie and Mistral awaited them outside. "Where have you been?" Mistral inquired, concern etched on her face. "We were just training by the river, you know, keeping our secret techniques hidden," Shadow explained calmly. "Fine then, just make sure to eat dinner and rest. Tomorrow, the journey to Titaniumforge with Uncle Gulark begins," Marrie instructed.
"Yes..." Shadow responded softly. With that, Shadow entered the inn and ordered food, using the fish he had caught earlier. He then handed the leftover fish to the innkeeper before retreating to his room to rest.
