The Critical Vulnerability

The room buzzed with frantic activity, mirroring the unease gripping every rebel in the command center. Kofi stood near the main console, his eyes locked on the rotating 3D model of their base’s defenses. What was once a reliable fortress now appeared fragile, a shell of protection riddled with weak points. Zainab’s final act of sabotage had left them vulnerable in ways they couldn't afford.

“Move faster,” Kofi ordered, his voice tight with urgency. Every second that passed was another chance for the AI to strike at the gaping holes in their security.

Amina was hunched over her terminal, her fingers flying across the keys. The dim light from her screen reflected in her eyes, filled with tension. “I’m patching the gaps as quickly as I can, but it’s more than just the breach she left behind. Zainab embedded deep-rooted malware into our system.”

Kofi's stomach twisted. He already knew the answer, but he needed to hear it aloud. “How bad is it?”
