"Hello?...Hello, Am I audible?"
"Yes, I can hear you. Sir you enquired for a session with Dr. Aditi right?"
"Yes, I want to set up an appointment for my daughter."
"Sure sir, for that I will need a few details regarding the patient."
"Alright, go ahead."
"What is your daughter's age?"
"She is 19."
"Okay, Does she have any medical history?"
"She had an accident two months earlier and was in a coma since then. Recently she recovered from coma and is back to normal."
"Alright! Your appointment with Dr. Aditi has been made on Tuesday morning at 10 am."
"Thank you."
"Have a great day sir."
Sana's father noticed her talking to herself a few times; he got worried that she will ruin her life because of these things. Which is why he enquired about a psychiatrist online, to get her checked up at least once.
"What the hell was that?" Shouted Sana.
"Actually..." Sana's father got shocked as he started to explain he saw
"What the hell? How can they get divorced?" She was talking about a tv show that she started yesterday only.
"Damn! these tv shows." He was relieved on realizing that she was furious due to what happened in the show. Who knows maybe she will be furious after knowing her appointment also?
"You binge watched this?" Asked her father.
"Not really." she replied, definitely she binge watched the show.
Her parents clearly told her to avoid being glued to the screen all day.
"I told you the opposite I believe."
"I am sorry, dad. But believe me this is amazing and I can't help watching it further, I think you should also try this show." She was so much immersed in this story that she forgot about her real life for a few moments. She sat on the sofa which was in their drawing room.
"Oh! Is it so? Then tell me, What is the story of the show? Then I will decide whether the show is eligible to be binge watched or not." Her father got curious.
After hearing the story
"Seriously? Why are they getting divorced then?" He was also in shock now.
"Exactly, I don't get why the author is being so ruthless to us by turning the story like this. And guess what?" She felt it was unfair.
"What?" Her father asked without a pause.
"This show will end next week. That means only one episode is left to be aired and they are not together." She was so frustrated; the story was not going her way.
"It's fine dear, I think the author just wants us to stick to the show till the end which is why they are leaving us hanging like that. Anyway, you have read more novels and stories than me. You should know their tricks to increase your attention by now." Since childhood Sana has been a die-hard fan of stories and her father has always encouraged her.
"Yeah, I understand." She calmed down after listening to what her father said.
He moved away from Sana after this discussion and called the last dialed number again, "Hello!"
"Yes, sir. How may I help you?" The receptionist replied.
"Yes, I have booked an appointment for my daughter with Dr. Aditi on Tuesday morning."
"Do you have any queries about that sir?"
"No actually, I want to book the appointment for today itself. I think it's urgent."
"Sir, In that case I will have to discuss it with the doctor and then get back to you later." the receptionist replied.
SOMEWHERE IN THE CITY
"Sir, someone saw the doctor getting shot but has not made a move yet." Mr. Meticulous informed about the situation. He had a choice to hide it but that may have been fatal to him if he would have known from somewhere else.
"So, What? Are you waiting for that person to invite you to a tea-party or something?" I think the boss is sarcastic. Nice joke by the way.
'This so-called author will get killed if our boss hears him. Just shut the fuck up man I am unable to concentrate.' Thought Mr. Meticulous while his boss was giving him some orders.
"Find that shadow person and get him/her killed." Instructed the boss.
"I have already sent our sniper to find that person." replied Mr. Meticulous.
"Alright." Boss left the chat. Yes they were texting.
"Please dude. Just this once help me. It's been a year since we have been working together and at least think something about it." Mr. Meticulous is acting out of character, he was begging the sniper to get his work done.
"That is because he won't budge with money. And why do you keep getting included?" shouted Mr. Meticulous.
"Why would I?" shouted the sniper.
"I was not saying that to you." Mr. Meticulous is in a really confusing situation.
"Who else do you see here?" shouted the sniper.
'This voice is irritating me now, anyways let's focus on getting the job done.' thought Mr. Meticulous. 'Would you please for god's sake stop calling me Mr. Meticulous. I have a name.'
"Ray, listen I already told you that I don't want to become a detective then why do you keep forcing me to investigate shit every now and then." Mr. Meticulous... I mean Ray has asked the sniper to find people like this a number of times because he has a lot of useful contacts.
"You are directly involved in this one, which is why I am telling you to find him."
"You are such a headache I swear."
"If you find this one and shoot him I will stop bothering you for things like these. Done?" Striking a deal is a good idea to convince someone Ray...nice move.
"Are you sure?" Asked the sniper.
"Definitely." verified Mr. Meticulous. 'You again changed my name.'
This guy has learned to communicate with me. Mr. Meticulous suits you dude, Ray is too simple.
"Alright, then your target will be at your door tomorrow morning. Double the amount you promised."
"Don't worry about that." Ray is rich so he doesn't care about money till the work is done.
Saying this Ray left for his work and the sniper started to investigate the shadow.
"Your appointment for Miss. Sana has been confirmed for today. Thank you." The message popped up on Sana's father's mobile screen. He was relieved when he saw the message.
