Leaving the inn in the commercial district, they began to browse the nearby shops.

Clothing stores, accessory shops, apothecaries, shoemakers, and bag stores lined the streets. In between were various dining establishments. At a small intersection, street vendors had set up stalls, emitting enticing and mouth-watering aromas. Despite having just had breakfast, Air was already eyeing the stalls with an eager expression.

"Yesterday, I thought the atmosphere was lively, but it's even more so today," Mariel observed.

"Yes, it's definitely because it's a direct domain of the lord. The people here seem to be filled with energy," agreed Wataru.

"Ah, Master, may I buy one of those steamed potatoes?" Air asked.

"Alright, but only one," Wataru said.
