Chapter 21

Oprah was a little stunned by Burgess’s answer. But she decided to not argue anymore and let her hand being held by Burgess until they came to the study.

He opened the drawer and took out a thick file bag. Then, Burgess handed the file bag to Oprah, "Open it and have a look."

Oprah didn't know what was happening but somehow felt that Burgess looked... a little nervous and expectant, as if he was waiting for something.

She opened the file bag, and inside was a thick stack of photos. The top one was somewhat familiar. After a closer look, she found that it was her photo from three years ago, when she was studying.

Flipping down the other photos, she found all her photos, three years ago, two years ago, one year ago... Some were of her reading in the library, some were of her walking on the school road, and some were of her at work.

Most of them were photos of her life three years ago. It seemed nothing special, but Oprah was shocked by these photos.
