As Angela held the boy with one arm, he still cared for her, "Aren’t you tired? I can walk by myself anyway."
Finally, Angela led Kaleb to a less crowded area outside and set him down, catching her breath.
"When… when did you start following me?" Angela asked.
“From the airport,” Kaleb answered easily.
“What?!
In contrast to Angela's chagrin, Kaleb remained unusually composed, looking up at her with his large eyes. "Angela, girls must protect themselves when they're outside. I've been following you the whole way, and you didn't even notice me. You need to improve your safety awareness."
"How could a kid like you advised me? Wait! Don’t tell me you came here secretly. Oprah knows about it, right?"
But Kaleb just kept silence, didn’t answer nor nod.
Angela reached out and pinched Kaleb's chubby cheeks through his mask. "Sweetie, just give me a straight answer."
With a mischievous smile, Kaleb replied, "Take a guess."
