Chapter 48

In the private room in a restaurant.

Zoey and Oprah sat facing each other quietly, before Zoey started the conversation, "I heard you lost your memory."

Zoey continued with a hint of a smile, "I hope you haven't forgotten your parents and loved ones."

Oprah took a sip of coffee and then looked at her. "What's your point?"

Zoey pressed her red lips together, her gaze becoming somewhat sharp.

"Oprah, I know you're not happy I took Burgess from you, but you should have read the news, right? Burgess and I are about to get married. Didn't your parents tell you not to be a homewrecker? Remember, Burgess is your brother."

Oprah chuckled.

Zoey was confused. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, I just find you quite amusing," Oprah replied calmly.

Zoey's face turned sour. Dealing with Oprah now seemed more challenging than six years ago.

Then Oprah said, "I’ve seen the news, but you two are still unmarried, how can you say I am a homewrecker? And do you have any evidence for that?"
