Chapter 59

Following the time indicated on the invitation, Oprah had the driver take her to the opera house in the evening.

Upon arrival, she noticed numerous social elites and media personnel present. Some of her former high school classmates were there as well.

Zoey had booked the entire music hall and exhibition halls of the opera house, allowing only invited guests to enter.

Oprah entered with her invitation and was assigned a seat with a broad view. From here, she could see most of the venue.

Initially, she didn't grasp Zoey's intentions until she spotted a familiar figure just before the performance began.

Burgess had actually come and was seated in the front row.

With Burgess's presence, the media flocked to report on Zoey, and all the news was positive.

The affluent classmates who used to look down on Oprah now sought to get close to Burgess, but they couldn't penetrate his entourage of bodyguards.
