Kylian's POV
“What?” I couldn’t help but be surprised. She shouldn’t do that. No, she couldn’t. I can’t have Della be doubtful of me even more… And…
"You… You should have seen your face! I'm joking," she said, waving her hand.
"I know it's personal. I'm not trying to be nosy; just a little bit curious. It's rumored that you're getting a divorce, so I cannot help but wonder. No need to answer, though, if you don't want to."
The way she spoke and the way she didn't seem fazed made it seem that she was still talking professionally to me, which was why, as strange as it was, I didn't overthink it.
I didn't like that rumor, so I clarified to her. "We aren't divorced yet; I won't let that happen. She's my mate, my Luna, and my lover. That won't change no matter what happens. Not now, not tomorrow, and definitely not in this lifetime."
"Oh… but it's true that there's a divorce in progress?"
"I'm fixing it."
"How?" she asked.
