Della’s POV
The next day morning, Fae said goodbye to me at the gate of Dark Moon.
“Will you be really okay here? It’s another month of suffering,” Fae said.
She only came here to send new things and the new maid to me, and it’s time for her to leave.
I gave her a smile, and joked, “Oh, don’t be so dramatic. You talk as if you’re leaving me in hell itself.”
“Aren’t I?” She rolled her eyes, making me laugh even more.
She’s a really good friend, just could be so dramatic sometimes.
Fae walked forward and engulfed me in a warm embrace. “Don’t worry, I’ll tell Jackson about it, and try my best to have him accept your decision.”
“You’re really the best,” I whispered, embracing her tighter.
If there’s one person whom I knew to always get my back, it would be her.
“Take care, okay?” I told her as I waved my hand after she entered the car that fetched her.
Once the car she was in was fully out of my sight, I turned back around.
