My eyebrows furrowed together.

Since my pursuit, Margot had been in hiding. It’s been so long already so why was she here, and how long had she been here for?

“That’s what I’ve been talking about. It’s been happening for days already. I don’t know when it started, but cases like that keep on happening.”

Suddenly, Gidon’s words rushed in my mind. Was it her?
