Star's True Plan

Alice launched several death chains toward Yoshi. Yoshi coated his claws in water and grabbed onto the chain. He yanked it and pulled in Alice, following up with a punch to her gut. But Alice aye the attack and jumped off Yoshi's hand, kneeing him in the face and sending him back into a building. She took out her scepter and ran towards Yoshi.

Yoshi blocked it with his wrist. Alice activated the buzzsaws on it, but Yoshi managed to retract his wrist in time. Alice spun her scepter around, nailing Yoshi on the chin with the spiked ball part of her scepter, and sent him flying up. When he hit the clouds, he expanded his wings and stayed in the air. He released a hydro breath down, destroying several city blocks. But Alice managed to run out of the way of the blast.

Yoshi dropped back down to earth like a meteorite. Alice snuck behind him, trying to hit him with a null ball, but he parried and knocked her hand away, causing her to misfire. The null ball hit a mountain and instantly erased it.

"You're so annoying." Red Eyes commented. "I can't believe you're doing all of this for a freak like us."

Yoshi punched her in the throat, making her stumble back."You don't know when to stop talking, do you."

The two continued to blitz around the city, destroying almost everything in their path. Yoshi kicked Alice into the air. She fired down several death chains.

Yoshi barely had time to react, crossing his arms in front of him as he formed a shield out of water. The death chains crashed against the shield. Yoshi's shield began to crack under the relentless barrage, but he held firm. With a roar, he pushed forward, breaking through the flood of chains and charging toward Alice.

Alice braced himself as Yoshi's fist connected with her stomach. But Alice retaliated in an instant, grabbing Yoshi's arm and wrapping death chains around his hands, throwing him into a building. Yoshi gritted his teeth. Alice jumped to the top of a skyscraper and charged up another null ball, this one being the size of all of Japan.

"It was fun, Yoshi. But I got better things to do than to mess around with you. Any last words for your precious girlfrie-"

In an instant, Yoshi Flash stepped over to Alice and kneed her in the stomach, making her flinch and canceling the attack. He was now in his dragon form, and his strength was stacked on top of Alice's.

"Red Eyes, give my girlfriend back her body, or I'll rip you from her body myself."

Red eyes chuckled. "Sure."

Star watched in amusement from the ground. He knew everything was falling into plan. His goal was never to nullify all elderly people, nor was it to attack Japan. Even his act of summoning the anomalies and having his subordinate fight the 3. If he wanted, he had thousands of followers and thousands of powerful anomalies in his storage. He could have killed them in a second if he wanted to. Because in truth, his motivation was never to nuke the USA in the first place.

Alice and the rest of them were so stupid, they just let it happen. It was absurd how dumb they were to fall for such an incoherent and messy plan like that. He was evil, but he was also smart. Star's true goal was something much more... close to home. And Alice was the key.

He watched with a sadistic smile as everything fell into his hands.

He looked off into the distance and saw Nubia with Taiyo, standing on a skyscraper. He stuck his lounge out and waved to them with a smile on his face.

"Is he mocking us?!" Taiyo yelled in frustration.

"No, not in the slightest. Rather, he's caught onto my plan and I've caught on to his. He's saying he won't get in my way if I don't get in his."

"W-What plan?"

"Taiyo, for being nearly 49 years old, you're an idiot. Everything. Everything Star has been doing up to this point has been a lie."

"What do you mean?"

"With anomalous outcomes, he can control anomalies. This also allows the user to create anomalies if they were to kill other humans or keepers. He turned Seiko into an anomaly intentionally and he baited you and Yoshi to Alice's school intensionally."

"W-What?"

"Him letting Pinoy and Belle meet Alice, him pushing Yoshi and Alice together, even you still being Alice is all part of his plan. Honestly, it's not a bad plan for what he's trying to achieve either. He created the shopping mall anomaly Alice first faced. He used you to raise Alice, then he told Colette to take your place through an anonymous line. Actually... he might have done even more than that."

"... I-I don't understand."

"This a pretty bad plan, but those kids, and all of the rest of you were too stupid to see the cracks. He's a terrible person. He murdered, raped, steals, and destroyed without thought. But all his last acts have been calculated for a moment in the distant future... Maybe not too distant actually."

Taiyo grabbed Nubia's collar and lifted her to her face. "What the hell is he?! Have you both been lying to me this whole time?! What are you people?!"

"Keepers, like you. Our goals are separated, but we've managed to use each other to get what we want."

"And Star... he..."

"Star was always too good for his own good. So kind and innocent, now look where it landed him. Just keep watching. The result might shock you."
