The coronation

Lucian's coronation ceremony took place in the cathedral that morning. The building had never been this filled before, even when the late Emperor was being crowned. Many guests had not had time to prepare when Caelan was crowned, and not all were invited.

However, Ave made sure Lucian's wasn't an isolated event where they would only hear about it. She wanted many to witness it and write about it. This day would go down in the new history—someone would record this day, and their descendants would read about it with pride, not dread.

She had taken charge of everything to make it grand, and it fell short of nothing. Everyone made it there. And there was no wasting time when their carriage finally arrived before the cathedral. The ceremony took place immediately.
