Sensation.

Elsie's face was as pale as a ghost. Even her lips were trembling. She wanted to clear the air but couldn't utter a word.

The humiliation after being discovered had ruined her image.

With bloodshot eyes, Elsie ran to Luna. "You're behind this! You set up a trap for me!"

Luna took a step back and said calmly, "Elsie, Don't make yourself embarrassed."

At the same time, sunlight poured through the French windows and shone on Dexter's face in a meeting room on the top floor, making his facial features even more attractive.

"Mr. Kings, your coffee is here." Melissea put the coffee down. She glanced at his laptop screen without meaning to and froze.

"Are you looking at the surveillance cameras, Mr Kings?"

He closed the window without even looking at her.

"I'm just checking some stuff."

Melissea dared not pursue the topic further and walked out in a daze. It seems to be… the design department on level twenty-seven. What was Mr. Kings looking at?

In the parking lot, Luna was standing with a wide smile.

"Did you need to visit hospital?" A voice rang from side.

"H-Huh? No. I am completely fine." The grin stretching Luna's lips.

"I broke someone wings today. It's all because of you, President kings. Thank you so much. " Luna embraced him with a smile and quickly let go of him.

Dexter's body froze for a second as the warm sensation left him. He then said, "Get in!"

"About Grandma's birthday...Is it only us? Is your relatives--" she blurted out but managed to catch herself halfway.

His eyes were shut. The neon lights from the surroundings outside reflected onto his exquisite face.

Luna averted her graze and quickly hop inside the car. On the way Luna made Dexter stopped his car. She got out of the car personally and returned with a pot of plants in her arms.

Dexter immediately recognized the plant as dendrobium. It was meticulously trimmed, indicating that someone was taking good care of it.

He looked at her suspiciously and asked, "Did you ask Ms. Stomerfields about this?"

"Yes. Today is Grandma's birthday. I can't go there empty-handed."

"You are not empty handed. We already bought a gift." Dexter replied plainly.

"Dexter, That was different. This dendrobium competed in a contest before. It costs me more than ten thousand!" Luna then tapped the corner of her lips and added with a faint smile, "If this plant is not enough to cheer her up, I can always use my mouth."

-----

Twenty minutes before seven, the car arrived at the Kings residence's entrance.

Emily had been anticipating their arrival from this morning until now, when she finally saw Luna. As expected Emily completely ignored Dexter and held Luna's arm.

With a gentle and lovable voice, Luna wishes "Happy birthday Grandma."

She then gestured at the housekeeper to bring forward the dendrobium.

"Grandma, I decided to get you a pot of dendrobium on my way here. Dexter told me that you love dendrobium," Luna said.

"I see. It looks nice." Emily nodded her head satisfyingly. She took a peek at Dexter from the corner of her eye.

"Thank you, Grandson." The smile on Emily's face became brighter as if she was in a great mood.

Luna then held Emily's hand and led the latter to the living room.

Dexter merely took a quick glance at Luna before he wished, "Happy Birthday, Grandma. Wishing you a long life with great prosperity." He then handed the gift box.

Emily happily reaching out to touch the gift inside. "Oh my! This is a chessboard. It's a jade chessboard!"

Dexter tore a wide smiled when she saw his Grandma's happy expression.

"Thank you, Grandson" Emily said. She then paused and asked, "When are you planning to have kids? I've thought of quite a few names for my great-grandchildren."

Luna's expression suddenly stiffened. Her head snapped up, as she looked at Dexter, who had a bright smile upon his face.

"Grandma, Luna and I have decided to wait for another two years before we start discussing about children." Dexter said calmly.

Luna blinked a few times. Her face suddenly turned as red as a poppy. She did not have the courage to look at Emily and Dexter.

Emily had noticed the intimacy and chemistry between the newlyweds, so she thought that things between them were in harmony and that their feelings were perfectly in sync with each other. Emily smiled happily. "If you already have plans, then by all means, do as you had planned! Me? I just want you both to be happy."

Luna felt an overwhelming sense of relief and nodded vigorously.

At that moment, Emily took out a vintage box.

"Your grandpa left this for you. Before he died, she was hoping to see Dexter get married. Unfortunately…"

"Grandma–"

"There's a jade bracelet in it. It has been passed down since your great-great-grandmother. It was with Dexter's mother before this, but there were some accidents… Luna, it's time to pass it to you now."
