Daughter

"Ple—please spare me!" a man begged, his voice cracking as he fell to his knees, trembling.

His forehead nearly touched the blood-soaked ground, and crimson streaks smeared across his face and cheeks.

The man didn't care. Around him, countless bodies lay.

Feng Shen, towering like a shadow of inevitable death. He raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk tugging at his lips as if amused by the pitiful display.

"What's this? You want me to spare you?" he asked, his voice tinged with mockery as he yawned, stretching his neck lazily.

The man gulped audibly, his whole body trembling as he dared to lift his head, desperation burning in his tear-filled eyes. "I'll do anything—"

Swish.

The man's words ended abruptly, replaced by stunned silence. His face, still frozen in shock, now stared at the ground... from the wrong angle.

A fountain of blood erupted from his neck as his head hit the ground with a sickening thud, rolling to a stop.
