First Day Of School 1
It was almost as bad a staying in the orphanage except, the manor was beautiful and there were alot of things to entertain her.
Shen Yue also tried her utmost best to be the best mother possible although Xiner wouldn't let her sometimes. Xiner didn't like her more nor hate her more. And so a month passed by and it was time for school to begin, the summer holiday had ended.
Monday morning, Mu Xinyan had set an alarm to wake up at 5am.
As the alarm rang she sprang up and turned it off. She took a bath, she learnt how to dry her hair herself then she brushed it.
She put on the uniform which Shen Yue had brought for her.
She so eagerly wanted to go with her but mother Mu wouldn't allow her using one reason or the other.
Mother Mu wouldn't let her leave the house either.
She didn't want to continue thinking about her grandmother so as not to spoil her good mood today.
The uniform was a white shirt with a dark red and black striped short skirt, a dark red coat and a dark red and black striped tie.
She wore ankle length cotton white socks with black leather shoes.
By the time she was done it was already 7.00am.
She put in 8 notebooks, 3 pens, a pencil, an eraser , a metre rule.
She had asked Xia beforehand what she was meant to take with her. She asked him alot of questions about school. She put them all in her red school bag before she went downstairs for breakfast.
Only Xia and Mu Yinan were downstairs and so she just dropped her bag on a couch in the living room and went to get breakfast . "Good morning father "
"Good morning my angel. How was your night ?"
"It was nice. How was yours ?"
"It was good too"
The relationship between father and daughter had gotten much better over time.
Xiner had thrown a small fit when Mu Yinan started calling Xinyan his angel.
Luckily Shen Yue had stopped her from causing a ruckus.
On the breakfast table there were scrambled eggs with cucumber, some pumpkin porridge, some yoghurt and a fruit plate. Mu Xinyan chose her food and was served the scrambles eggs, pancakes and a glass of yoghurt.
Since she came into the Mu family home, she loved food and she wasn't stick thin like she was when she first came into the Mu family home. She now had some meat on her bones which made her look even more pretty than before. After some minutes, Shen Yue came down with Xiner.
"Good morning father "
"Good morning princess. How was your night ?"
"it was fine father ?" Xiner would be starting middle school today so she took extra time to get ready. She looked a lot like She Yue she had the same dark brown hair and brown hazelnut eyes. She also had an aura of elegance. She sat down gracefully and ate her breakfast .
"Xia make sure you take care of sisters at school. You can't let anyone bully them .
Understand "
"Dont worry father " his father had already talked to him , long before the ladies came down for lunch. It was more of a threat though .

Before the ladies came down ...
"Xia make sure nothing happens to your sisters if not I'll cut your allowance "
" But what if something happens that's above my control "
" If anything happens to my angels I'll cut your allowance. No ifs or buts ." Mu Yinan said matter of factly . He didn't not like Xia , he was just trying to see if he could handle responsibility.
He could only grunt .
Why did he always favor the girls so much .
Poor him . What if something happened to him ? No one would keep him safe .
After breakfast Mu Yinan kissed the girls good bye, ruffled Xia's hair a little then left for work. Shen Yue took the kids to school in the car, it was their first day of school and she wanted to take them herself.
Xinyan was nervous and excited. Xiner didnt feel nervous because some of her old classmates would also be attending this school.
Junting middle School was a private school owned by an affluent family and they also accepted 100 students that passed the scholarship exams they held every summer. Children and grandchildren of affluent families went here. It was the best and it was always competitive as children were also representing their families. At the end of the session the results would be called publicly and at an event and everyones family members would be present .
Some days after that , a grand summer event would be held and everyone would brag about their children, while those who didn't get their names called may not even attend .
At 8am they got to the school. Their car was not the only luxurious car there but there was also many other luxury cars dropping students.
Xia went to class although classes didn't start till 8.30am . It was still mandatory for everyone to be in school by 8.00am as that was the school's rules and regulations.
Xiner and Xinyan followed Shen Yue to the administrators office where they got their students ID card and also the timetable and class.
Then Shen Yue gave them each some money for lunch before leaving.
Both girls followed the teacher to the hall.
These two girls looked different and gave off different feels.
Xinyan had black hair, with two thin braids running behind along the length of her hair and blue eyes. She gave off the feeling of a cold person, absolved from the things of the world and in her own space.
Xiner had brown hair and brown eyes, she was elegant and gave off a light hearted magninomous and friendly feel, unlike her elder sister.
Very different girls.
There was to be an orientation for new students and the new grade 7 students.
The two young ladies of the Mu family walked to the hall together, side by side.
The Mu family was an aristocratic family since the imperial times and still became government officials in the 70's and 80's just escaping the fate of most of the other landlords.
The only started business during Elder Mu's time.
This was why the children's upbringing was of the utmost importance to the Elder as he needed the Mu family to keep being prosperous.
He was the only one apart from Mu Yinan and Shen Yue to know Xinyan was the only one with the Mu family blood in her veins.
He especially valued this great granddaughter.
The school was large and so was the hall. There were more than a 100 students, some talking and other sitting quietly, observing.

As they got to the hall...
"Xiner " a young girl called out to her .
"Ling " Xiner shouted back and then ran to her before Xinyan could react.
Xinyan was by herself and so she went to find herself where to sit. She took a front seat that was to the extreme right. The front row seats where the most quiet and empty.
A few minutes after she sat down, when the hall was aost full and all the students had seated, a young boy sat beside her. His head facing down towards the phone in his hand and his wars blocked by ear phones. She looked at him when he sat then and was shocked because he was so quiet she didn't hear him coming towards her.
Or was she just too distracted ?
She was very curious and wanted to get a good look at this boy who gave off this strange aura, but his bangs covered his eyes. He had this strange, dangerous yet elegant and mysterious aura .
She tried to see his face by bending her head a little but then the Headmistress came in and started giving the speech even then he didn't raise his head from the phone in his hand. He seemed to be playing a game. She turned away and then focused on the speech and instructions the Headmistress was giving.
