Chapter 61: Flying Demon

**Chapter 61: Flying Demon

Lin Qingshan thought for a moment and saw no issue with it. He was just going to explain, so it was fine.

"Also, since we're setting up an official account, the company wants you to open an official account on Weibo as well," Sumire Ito continued. "Do you mind?"

"No problem. Why would there be an issue?" Lin Qingshan replied.

"Great, then. I'll have everything set up shortly," Sumire Ito said politely.

"Alright," Lin Qingshan said before ending the call.

He didn't think there was anything wrong with registering an account to make an explanation. However, what Lin Qingshan didn't realize was that Sumire Ito meant for him to wait until the company set up the account for him.

Instead, Lin Qingshan planned to create an account himself right away.

He looked at Pochita. "Pochita, we have something important to do. Let's head home and get started!"

Pochita barked in response.

The two quickly made their way back home.

Once they were back at the rental apartment, Lin Qingshan turned on his computer. "Time to set up a Twitter account. Let's get going."

He immediately found a VPN and connected to the internet, then downloaded the Twitter desktop app and created a new account.

After setting up the new account, he changed his profile picture to one of David and his username to "Qingshan."

He then tweeted his first message in English.

"Hello everyone, this is the official account of Qingshan, the author of *Cyberpunk 2077: Edge Runners*."

Soon after posting, he received a reply.

In the US, a young white man named Mike was scrolling through Twitter when he came across an intriguing tweet.

"Hello everyone, this is the official account of Qingshan, the author of *Cyberpunk 2077: Edge Runners*."

Mike, who was one of the smaller fan bases of *Edge Runners* in the US, was excited to see this tweet.

However, when he clicked on the account's profile, he saw there was no official verification.

No verification?

And the official account for the manga company didn't follow this supposed author.

Manga creators from the company usually had verified accounts on Twitter.

Mike concluded that this was definitely a dumb scammer!

He quickly replied, "Are you really the author 'Qingshan' of *Edge Runners*?"

He decided to have some fun with this scammer.

Lin Qingshan received the notification of the new message on his computer and saw the reply.

He responded sincerely, "Yes, I am indeed 'Qingshan,' the author of *Edge Runners*."

"Pfft…"

On the other side, Mike couldn't help but laugh at the reply.

"Dude, if you're going to lie, at least make it believable. This is just too fake."

Lin Qingshan was getting irritated. Why didn't this person believe he was who he said he was?

"But I really am 'Qingshan,' the author of *Edge Runners*. I'm not lying."

"Haha, do you have any proof that you're 'Qingshan'?"

Mike continued to laugh and reply, intending to mess with the scammer further.

"I need to prove that I'm me?"

Lin Qingshan was taken aback, then he felt frustrated.

"Looks like I'll have to show a talent I've never shown before!"

Determined, he replied, "I'm really 'Qingshan,' and let me tell you something—I can fly."

Mike was left speechless.

Wait…

What kind of person thinks that being able to fly proves they're the author of *Edge Runners*?

This person must either be a kid or seriously delusional.

Mike suddenly felt he might have made a mistake…

How could he mess with someone who was either a child or mentally unstable?

Feeling a bit of guilt, Mike thought that maybe he should stop messing with this person.

"Forget it, I'll stop trolling him."

He sighed and decided not to reply anymore.

However, a few minutes later, the account claiming to be the author of *Edge Runners* posted another reply.

"Check out my latest tweet. I can fly!"

Mike was even more confused. Was this guy really claiming to fly?

He hesitated but eventually clicked on the video link in the tweet.

In the video, a handsome Asian man wearing blue and white striped clothes appeared.

Though he looked decent, he seemed rather foolish. Was this person really a mentally unstable individual?

The man looked at the camera, then glanced at the ceiling.

With a serious expression, he said, "Now, I'm going to take off!"

Mike was more certain than ever that this man was mentally unstable!

Who would act like this?

The man in the video then stared at the ceiling, as if worried about breaking through it while taking off.

Finally, he jumped up!

But…

He didn't fly; he fell back to the ground with a heavy thud.

Mike watched the video, mouth agape, and was left dumbfounded!

"Ugh, the cost of flying is so high. That hurt."

Lin Qingshan grinned as he winced in pain.

Pochita looked at him with concern and barked twice.

"I'm fine, don't worry, Pochita."

Lin Qingshan smiled, confident that those who didn't believe he was Lin Qingshan would start to believe him now.

Next, he planned to post a tweet explaining why Mann had become a cyber-psycho.

Just then, his phone rang.

He answered, "Hello, Sumire, what's up?"

"Here's the situation," Sumire Ito said, "The company has set up the account. I'm sending you the username, password, and VPN info now."

Lin Qingshan blinked. "But…"

"I already set up the account myself."
