"Well, that's one way to put it," Lin Qingshan said, scratching his head.

Describing *Cyberpunk 2077* as a spin-off of *Edge Walker* felt somewhat like a reversal of roles—where the spin-off had become the parent of its predecessor. However, in this world, due to Lin Qingshan being a time traveler, *Cyberpunk 2077* was indeed a derivative of *Edge Walker*.

"What's this game about? I haven't heard you mention it before," Gu Qianli asked curiously.

"It's a 3D action game—kind of like the shooting games I usually enjoy, but way better," Lin Qingshan explained. "It's a AAA title, so it's much more advanced than regular FPS games."

Gu Qianli nodded, considering the combat in *Edge Walker* which was heavily focused on gunfights and technology.

"Anyway, let's set that aside. By the way, is there a special reason you came here today?" Lin Qingshan asked with curiosity.

"Do I need a reason to visit you on a Saturday?" Gu Qianli replied with a playful smile and a hint of mischief in her eyes.

"Ah, true," Lin Qingshan said, scratching his head again, slightly embarrassed. "We are friends after all!"

"Stop scratching your head so much, or you'll go bald," Gu Qianli said with a mock glare, gently holding his arm.

"Is that a thing?" Lin Qingshan blinked. "I didn't really notice. I'll try to be more mindful, though... heh."

"Actually, I have a favor to ask. Do you want to go see a movie?" Gu Qianli asked, pulling out two movie tickets from her bag.

"A movie? What's it about?" Lin Qingshan asked, intrigued.

"It's Nolan's *Daredevil: Rise of the Dark Knight*. It's been really popular lately. Do you want to go?" Gu Qianli asked, trying to hide her nervousness. This was her first time inviting Lin Qingshan to a movie—just the two of them.

"Going to the movies..." Lin Qingshan realized he hadn't been to a theater in this life, despite being a movie enthusiast in his previous one.

"Is something wrong?" Gu Qianli asked, her voice tinged with worry.

"No, I love movies," Lin Qingshan assured her. "But I rarely go with others. I usually go alone, whether it's to the cinema, on trips, or just for meals. It's just how it's always been."

He continued, "Even with my past experiences, I prefer to avoid inconveniencing others, so I usually do things by myself."

"Well, do you want to come with me?" Gu Qianli asked again, her eyes meeting his with determination.

"Sure, that sounds great!" Lin Qingshan said with a hearty laugh. "What time does the movie start? Is it now?"

*Daredevil: Rise of the Dark Knight* was indeed popular recently, though Lin Qingshan found it strange that this world's version of the *Dark Knight* trilogy featured Daredevil instead of Batman.

"Not until seven tonight. How about we have dinner first?" Gu Qianli suggested.

"Seven? That's still early. I'll finish up my work, and then we can have dinner before the movie!" Lin Qingshan agreed.

"I'll also invite Ayumi," he added, but Gu Qianli stopped him.

"Don't," she said, looking uneasy. "I only bought tickets for us two. If we include Ayumi, it might be awkward for her if we go without her."

Gu Qianli felt a bit embarrassed but hoped Lin Qingshan would understand.

"I see... then I won't invite Ayumi," Lin Qingshan said after a moment of consideration.

"Why don't you let Pochita stay here with me while you finish up? I'll keep her company," Gu Qianli suggested.

"Sure," Lin Qingshan agreed, smiling. "I'll get this done quickly."

He then turned back to his work, applying the final touches and dialogue to his manga pages. The last two illustrations were his personal touch, requiring extra effort and time compared to the previous pages.

Finally, he finished and prepared to head out. "All done! Let's get ready to go!"

With that, Lin Qingshan and Gu Qianli set off for their movie night.
