Chapter 27 The Resurrection Needle

Dawn broke, scattering the night.

The young detective drove to the bar, in what was the fifth safe vehicle he had switched to tonight, all using real license plates. He was always this cautious, which is why he still couldn't understand how Su Sheng had found him.

But he was relieved he was found early, preventing him from doing something reckless, or else the consequences wouldn't just involve kneeling.

After ten at night, he had given a list with five names on it. Then he switched cars five times, went to eight places, always waiting outside. Each time after Su Sheng left, he returned and continued on to the next location.

The young detective had no idea what Su Sheng was up to, but just the thought of it almost made him pee his pants.

And now this assassin big brother was still sitting in the back seat, wearing his most favorite hat. Was this a planned frame-up phase? What would he do if the police came? He couldn't even chop vegetables, let alone carry this burden!
